Gifting packs?

How do we randomly gift packs to someone? do we have to be friends or how do we even see their wishlist? And does it have to be their current user name or Origin ID? Can somebody splain please?

Oh never mind, I just saw in Crin's thread you can't gift people through the EA app., that sucks.

The only way I knew how to gift a pack was buying a virtual copy and sending the intended recipient the code.

you can send the code via EA app by double clicking on the friend in your friend's list, but if you don't have them there you can send them it via dm on here or whatever platform you can contact them in
