Baby Carriers are CAS?

With the recently leaked items coming with growing together I’m seeing the baby carrier show in the CAS section. This might just be FPO as it’s a leak but doesn’t it make more sense for it to be an object you can have in your inventory and put on whenever needed? I hope I don’t have to have a specific baby carrier outfit. Would be much easier to drag these to other sims inventories so they can take over the infant.

The lists of items weren’t a leak - they are on the official EA site.

In the CAS pictures of the carriers, the sims aren’t wearing any shirts, just the carriers. In all official screenshots/ trailers they are wearing shirts underneath, so the carriers must be something that goes over shirts/ outfits, rather than an outfit themselves, but I don’t think we know exactly how that will work.

It looks like it's some sort of accessory, not a clothing item. I wonder if fat sims will be able to wear it without clipping.

I'd guess something like rock climbing gear, where it is technically a CAS part but you keep it in your inventory and put it on through an ingame action, not through changing outfits.

Same as the hazmat suit, this item will be hidden in CAS.

Because it's not required 24/7, the sims wear it for a specific task.

Can I ask what you mean by 'hidden'?

Also like the Bee Keeper outfit, which can be applied by clicking hives.

I mean Not visible in CAS, except if you use mod which checked "Show in CAS" box.
I use this method to add these hidden CAS items to mannequin (For example Bonehilda outfit).

But maybe I'm wrong because they did thumbnails for the baby carrier. There is no thumbnail for the hazmat suit (GP07 StrangerVille).
