A world that ISN;T on the coast or surrounded by water.,, I've gotten so bored with seeing new worlds having to be on the coast. An industrial place(minus the toxic waste part) would be fine, because I would finally have a logical place to put all my warehouses and other industrial buildings;I'm hoping that we can start getting inner city worlds soon.
Desert -No roads , only dunes and faint dirt tracks. I also want upgradable and souped up dune vessels. Think Mad Max. No modern structures please.
Tropical Jungle & Swamps - with Swamp Thing occult and an option to build swamp & riverboat houses. Please no modern structures.
Mountain - Bit like the Black Forest area in Germany, for my (evil) Grimm inspired stories... I'd love to have a (cuckoo) clock maker skill. Modern structures still aren't welcome.
Industrial Place- With a Servo scrap yard and Super Toxic Waste and Steampunk aesthetics. No fancy modern structures allowed. They'd all be derelict anyway.
Dead Land/Ghost Town - Yee-haw with horses and an option to use dynamite on any modern structure and road that me and my sims might encounter on our travels. We'd blow'em all to bits, because we can. Doesn't mean I'm an evil person IRL. I'm only evil in my games and so are some of my sims.
Btw why do we have so many founding father statue squares in these worlds one Vlad is enough
I call on the founding Mothers
and the founding ungendered
also the dragons
and maybe the possibility that there isn't founding anyone
“Madre Cosecha” (Mother Harvest) is the town founder of Selvadorada. She's that lovely Avocado lady.
I thought the founders of Brindleton Bay are a bunch of stray cats and dogs, or am I being silly now and should I re-educate myself? At least they have their own statue and they also own a lot more graveyard than the hoomans do (which is exactly nilch).

The Brindleton Bay founding fathers statue reminds me of the Capitoline wolf statue with the founders of Rome.
Anyway, speaking of new worlds, I'd like a tropical island world, an extension of Sulani or even Selvadorada, with parakeets, coconuts, orchids, swimmable waters, climbable rock mountain with a big waterfall going down, a ghost pirate ship, a cave with hidden pirate treasures and stuff, hammocks and treasure map.
I'd really like a future EP or GP to be set in an Arabic country, or India. They've already given us some base game updates and kits for these cultures, but we don't have a world to fit those assets in. And I'm sure people that come from these cultures would love to have the representation as well. And it'd be the perfect pack to re-introduce genies to the franchise, so plenty of gameplay to add as well!
I like worlds that have the full experience of Seasons, so no tropical, desert, or California style worlds (of which we will now have two), please. Lol.
I would like a Scandinavian or Greenland based world, maybe. The Sims 3 had two great custom ones. I love the style.
I picked this but it would be cool if like the world was 'infested' with like 'Mysterious eggs(Dragons)' and other mysterious creatures and you can 'steal/take' and Hatch/raise them but if you stay in the world for to long you get a tense or angry buff (or a sad buff depending on the sims age). Possible death by a Mysterious monster (Dragon or something else)? idk- just a thought :}
All of those except the suburbs. A new world could consist of Big city (apartments)/Big city (beach district)/Big city (slum/toxic waste) and maybe an airport. Likewise hills, cold weather and untouched forest could get combined into a single world.
Now playing: "Let's Investigate!" - a Reality TV show based on the detective career. Link to story thread: Let's investigate
I was tempted to say desert, but I don't really want another US/Southwest location. Really, far more than the climate or biome or level of urbanization, what I care about is getting some unique locations based on cities/countries that either we've never seen in a sims game at all, or at least since TS3.
When I chose cold weather, I think I was visualizing some of the Scandinavian type ideas people have come up with on this sub-forum, but there are so many other creative ideas that people have suggested, across a wide variety of settings. Just, no more American suburbs. Don't get me wrong, I use the heck out of the ones we have, but I'm ready to move on.
Honestly, I'd just love worlds I could create myself. I almost never use lots smaller than the 50x40 for residential, and 30x20 is nice for commercial, with a few larger and smaller lots thrown in depending on lot type. Give me back control, for the love of the gods.
Saw this on Youtube some days ago and thought it would be nice to get a world inspired by Eastern Europe. They could add fixer upper cars and motorbikes too.

but truthfully wouldn't mind any of the following: Suburb and Forest (Nature) two worlds not one
Big city (Apartments)
Beach city (Apartment + beach) similar to South America, and the Mediterranean again more then one world
Desert Middle East
Cold weather region Northern Canada, Greenland, Norway or Serbia
Tropical jungle / Swamp two worlds
Mountain Alps or the Canadian Rockies with lots at the foothills middle of the mountains and top of the mountains
Hills (Hillside lots)
I voted for one with Hillside lots, because in real life not every plot of land is completely flat. I'd want the basement tool to be updated too, to allow for walk out basements, windows in basements, etc.
If I didn't vote that, either tropical/jungle because it wouldn't be North America or Europe based. Or Mountain, because it could be cool too. Writing this I had flashbacks to the movie Heidi, and would love to build a similar cabin style lot. That's what we don't have, Log Cabin style walls.
I was hoping we'd get a snowy scandinavian world like Aurora Skies for the werewolf pack but unfortunately we didn't, but I'm still waiting for one. Second I would like more desertic worlds, we only have Oasis Springs and Strangerville (which has too much green for my taste). I would also like to have a big city by the beach, maybe in a Brazil-inspired pack based on Salvador+Rio de Janeiro?
Out of the offerings, I say hills, for one reason:
I want terrain height changes to take place within foundations, and walls able to stand next to foundations. Basically, I want to be able to make walk-out basements again. A pack with lots of sloping lots would be a good excuse to implement that.
Comments
otherwise I am little meh about new worlds at this point
new weather/terraforming/ architectural styles/activities we literally could not just do in existing worlds otherwise meh why add world

Sorry can't choose. I want these:

This too! I'd love to make ancient Egyptian temples in the game without CC!
