    For me:

The World 3/5-Too small and not enough lots but it is enticing. EA/Maxis works will never be a 5/5 for me as I cannot edit or add lots and always static.
CAS- will wait until I get it at a cheap price and that goes for the rest of what I think about it.

The preview of CAS and B/B content gave me a better opinion of this EP.

I have seen a lot of youtubers critical of the CAS but I am really looking forward to it because I can tell the swatches are going to absolutely going to rip. The ducky shirt, the printed shirt dresses, the patterned sweaters and cardigans? If they don't have like crazy swatches I will be VERY surprised. Let alone the infant clothing, which offers sooooo many opportunities for sweet prints.
I'm a shirt dress fan for all ages and there's 3 or 4 of them available so I love that, I love knits and cardigans as well. Some of the kids and toddlers clothes are so cute that I wish they came in big.
I like the hairs, at first I was like "I am sure I've seen these before" but it was just cc I was remembering, they are new to the game. I love the Big Bun(tm) and dual puffs w/ beaded strands best of all because I have ideas for them.
I would give CAS 4.5/5 because they really turned it out despite focusing mainly on new gameplay.
Build/buy is giving us TRIANGULAR WINDOWS. Why does nobody else seem to care!? Also like the "main" aesthetic is craftsman but like, when it was originally popularized in california a hundred and some odd years ago. I can take or leave the ultramodern doors as a secondary aesthetic but I am not immune to the siren song of the modern triangular windows.
And maybe I am just being picky but I don't love the chairs, couches or bed. 3/5 for a good try.
I am not in love with the world. I feel a bit guilty passing judgment without having played in it yet. I "get" how it works, it's the Home of the sims. Family. Got it. It's gonna have a california climate which means no snow in the winter. Plus the thought of rebuilding the community centre on that enormous lot is giving me a migraine. 2/5, I like how green it is. Would have been cool to have sequoias.
    Gameplay: TBD

    tl;dr
    cas: 4.5/5
    bb: 3/5
    world: 2/5
    gameplay: TBD

I'm glad they gave us a preview of what we would be getting in CAS and Build/Buy. Pre-release rating:

4/5 for CAS. I like most of the clothing. I would like it better if there were no crop-tops, or if they at least gave us non-crop-top options for things like the argyle sweater over a shell. If it's chilly enough for a sweater, it's chilly enough to cover one's midriff. I love the additional baby hairs.

5/5 for Build/Buy. I really like the windows in this set. And I love the owl suitcase. I'm not sure what the curved black and white pieces are for, but look forward to finding out. New game tables are nice. And any set that includes a treehouse, bicycles and splash pads gets my vote.

4/5 for San Sequoia. I do appreciate that the developers are starting to worry about our computers. It looks like a pleasant place to play. And some of the shells look authentically Californian, the wharf area especially. Happy that our Sims can swim in the lake, and amused by the crocodile.

5/5 for gameplay. I'm looking forward to all of it -- the social compatibility and conversation topics, the midlife crises, the milestones and family dynamics, the quirks for infants and toddlers. My only disappointment is that this pack didn't come out 3 or 4 years ago.

I find giving ratings little hard as I do not have the pack
even more hard I find it to say it in 1-5 rating

but lets go with numbers here on cas and b/b

    CAS items
I can imagine I might have use in 99/137
(that is if I even count the 137 right)
    = 38 items I really don't care to have

things i liked were mostly skin detail/hair

the clothing highlight is the grandma headscarf and baby carriers
and there is this dress that looks like potentially new nightdress which i do like having more options on

I don't really have much interest in the male clothing in this pack again
it just feels ''don't we have this already''

I also kind of doubt that I would miss many of these items if replaced by another item
    B/B items
this one is slightly harder since there is gameplay in the midst but lets go
162/195 (if again I mathed right you really can't trust my brain on this)

= 33 items I really don't want all that much

sounds about right I'm not hyped on style on whole but there is quite many items in here that I can see use for
and ofcourse I am most interested in items with gameplay

I think with this rating both would be solid 3/5

World: 2.5/5 I don't really see point in adding this world
and in such situations i sometimes think it might be better to just not have one
Hopewell Hills I am not big fan of this neighborhood somehow it just seems rather boring for now

Gilbert Gardens I am actually thinking might be fun despite its very Willow Creek look but the shells tho

I could also see myself using the Wharf which name I already forgot
for things that I couldn't fit in San Myshuno but it seems rather dead otherwise and its tad sad
Gameplay: Honestly this really cannot be rated before played
I am very excited for most of it though unlike with say for example Eco Lifestyle that to this day has me half Eh?

so I suppose it would be at best 13.5/20 kind of pack if the gameplay is as good as it seems
then again I do often end up liking things I did not think I would like too so

These are not my final ratings because I don't have the pack but from what I have seen and read so far

CAS : 3/5. The cas items look nice but don't stand out. Most packs have a few cas items I am really looking forward to. Usually this is a particular outfit or hair style. This is one of the few packs that doesn't have such an item. The items don't stand out amongst all the outfits and hairs we already have

Build/buy: 4/5 the modern furniture looks very nice, including new rocking chairs. We also get a good deal of windows. I like the new crib, even if it is locked as a reward. I also like details like getting matching bookshelves so you can put two next to each other with different clutter.

World : 2/5 another world with loads of empty space and shells between the lots. I would prefer lots to be closer together in a world. There are not enough sims to populate such an area. And the decor which we can't change allows very little flexibility in changing the world to our liking. We have to play with the world the devs like with no possibility to make it our own. The world is of course small but I have accepted the idea of only getting small worlds from now on. My score is mainly based on the shells and uneditable space between lots. I am OK with the size though a 5 lot neighbourhood is more versatile than a 4 lot neighbourhood.

Gameplay : 4,5/5 this final score will depend on whether or not the pack turns out to be buggy. Let's hope when it comes to bugs that it will be like werewolves, not like wedding stories. I am hyped for the milestones. I have a feeling that those milestones will come close to the memories I loved in sims 2. I also look forward to slumber parties, family reunions, walking along the hiking path, the rec centre, new board game, the tree house,... Basically all the gameplay sounds awesome with the exception of the workplace rivalry. I hope we can turn those off in the options

For me I'll wait until I get mine, I like to test them out some.. to see how they work.. look around the new world, look at CAS.. then Build mode.. then I rate it.
