I'm considering buying a Steam Deck... I have a few questions...

- Is anyone playing sims 4 (or/and sims 3) with it?

- How's your experience overall?

- Can this titles be played offline?

- Was it easy to set considering i have all content in the EA App?

Thank you so much in advance!

Personally I dislike Sims 4, but really enjoy Sims 3. I got "The Sims 3 Collection" (with all expansion packs and stuff packs) on Steam, which I play on my Deck and I would say it runs pretty good.

Isla Paradiso is laggy as expected, so don't bother with that neighborhood. It's a bit sad, I really like Isla Paradiso.

Yesterday I transferred loads (pretty much all) of store content (that I bought years ago) to my Deck, and it still runs. Not as smoothly perhaps. Opening CAS to browse outfits is a nightmare and sometimes cause the game to crash. I'll run some more test, to see if it is worth it or if I should go back to just "The Sims 3 Collection".

Anyway, the game starts fine offline.

I thought it was very easy to set up (considering I totally lack any skills in Linux).
The controller layout took some time to set up, it wasn't hard but needed a loot of tweaking before I was happy with it.
