Hi,

I mean the sims need to wear their glasses no matter the playable career or NPC career.

The perfect example is GP06 StrangerVille, Erwin Pries suddenly loses his glasses when he works at the CurioShop

Well, I do agree that accessories should also show up in other outfits. Especially glasses. I like glasses. I don't think glasses make people look ugly.

Some anime characters think that they make them smarter ... but the most of people don't wear them for fun.

Indeed. I wear them because I am short-sighted and really despise the idea of using contact lenses. They have grown on me a lot that I can't imagine being without them...

I wish we had transitions lenses. I wouldn't go back to the regular kind now.

The glasses category includes sunglasses though, which are used for fun and fashion more often than medical reasons.
-No, my almost-elderly mother, I don't think it's a good time for you to try for a baby.
-Yes, person I barely know, you have my blessing to hang out with Johnny Zest.
-No person with the mean, hot-headed and self-absorbed traits, I don't think you should get married.

Sunglasses protect your eyes same way as swim googles do. They are not a fashion accessory, even though they are fashionable looking.

And there are prescription sunglasses out there, for those who need to protect their eyes from the sun at all times. I have a pair with a very low prescription.

Prescription sunglasses are handy for those who need to wear glasses all the time. Transitions are even better in my opinion because then you don't have to carry extra glasses with you in order to swap.

I like many different types of eye glasses. They can be useful for certain households. ;)

Another strange thing, sims who don't need glasses, when they work as a NPC Librarian or NPC Restaurant Critic, they wear glasses.

    Bella Goth

I think Bella uses them to protect her eyes from computer glare.

I'd rather the NPC and/or Career outfits be editable
Calientes still take most awful forms outside of the house because their fashion is only fixed for the outfits I can edit
also if we could edit those sims could have glasses for those outfits

I'm backing this up. It makes no sense why glasses don't stay on or off while working. Also, why remove sunglasses from the vampires during the work day?

Along the line of glasses, maybe we could get cataracts or blind eyes as an option as well. I have characters that I would love to create in the Sims more realistically, but they're blind characters and the closest I can get to that is the white eyes used in one of the expansion packs or with dark sunglasses. It doesn't feel right to have them go about their Sims lives with sight when that's not something they'd actually have. If we can have hearing aids for hearing impaired representation, can't we have visual impairment representation too?
