Also someone pointed out that the ram stool is in reference to the zodiac sign. If that is true we might get some updated astronomy gameplay maybe or a zodiac, if not in this pack then maybe some time in the future.

Oohh I don’t have those kits so I didn’t know that. Thanks for letting me know! I also noticed the pirate gnome and other island/water themed stuff as well. Whales/sealife keep popping up… an underwater theme, maybe? That might be a bit of a stretch though.

I don't expect a full refresh. But I'd love to see them add a little to existing features in this game. A few more poses for the Photo Studio object would be more welcome (and needed) than fifty new CAS t-shirt prints. I'm sure there are a couple small adjustments/additions to the careers that would be great too. I would scream in joy if we get torso manniqueens to display only what can be placed on a sim's head/neck: Hats, glasses, jewelry etc. (hair even, would look cool as wig display in either hair saloon or hospital!). Torso displays to be placed on shelves/surfaces, rather than a full sized body on the floor. It would be *one* new object opening up for a ton of new store ideas.
I'm sure there are similar additions that could be made to Scientist and Medicine careers.

Like what looks like a spaceship dolls house (but might be something else). Quoting a picture from a different ts4 forum, not sure how that will work...
And so it occurred to me. What with all this updated gameplay for all ages, new medical wearable category, scars, birthmarks, teeth growing, etc, doctors could and maybe will get an update. The entire pack could get an update.
And in doing so, more professions could be added. Issues with businesses could be fixed. We could get our own private practices, and have/be family doctors. So that you wouldn't have to load the hospital all the time. And place one in Newcrest, and maybe have a clinic in several worlds. Like how you can be a Vet with a few working under you, or just own the business itself, and have vets under you. You could be a dentist. Same with like being a Private Detective or Researcher.
I hope you're right, I think get to work would be a great pack to update. It's an important pack and it came out much earlier in the game's development and would likely be very different if it were created today.
Would be great to have the career lots put in to some kind or world so we can visit whenever, and made in to a lot type so we can move them. Why not have a hospital in windenburg? Other lots like shops or nightclubs allow us to fully customise them and have build requirements so they're functional, so why not career lots?
I can imagine new careers too, like a caterer who has to make various foods and deliver them to a location. Or a biologist who collects samples from different places - maybe you have to travel to selvodorada and hunt for a rare plant. Or find a specific frog.
Also, from playing, I think the game mechanics of retail and restaurants would benefit from some work.

If you have Moschino pack, you can put several of those pose marks on the floor and ask the entire family to pose together for a photo. If you put the sims in a neutral pose it will be just like regular group family photos.

and if i try to get it by having sims socialize well obviously they'll just walk wherever they want and won't look at the camera
I would like them to add Crimes and Consequences to the game and it could come in the form of a GTW refresh. I'd love to do prison time in 3rd person, police foot chases for assault and shoplifting and being able to call the cops when you witness a crime. And BURGLARY for crying out loud. Cmon devs please add this in 2023.

Okay this might sound really out there but I just had the weirdest brain blast and I need you to follow my train of thought. Please? I'm going to try to backtrack to the beginning:
I was thinking of how I , and others, had thought we would get an active career in this pack because of all the tooth imagery we got in the roadmap. Thinking a dentist career was coming. Then it turned out to be a clutter kit. But then we did see a child sim lose their tooth, and toothfairy proof. And for a second I thought that was it.
BUT THEN (forgive me my exuberance) I remembered I saw the infant sim teething, the teething ring stack in the trailer, and an infant without any teeth at all. Plus we saw a Sim nursing an infant. If you know anything about nursing, it can be painful, and if your baby is getting teeth it's worse. Once they have teeth 😬. Let's start them on food yeah? Soon as possible, bring in the bottles more yeah too. (Also made me think of how they said it would be an intensive experience but I digress.)
Thinking these things I was like wow getting teeth really IS going to be an actual growing experience with this pack, maybe even without it bc infants will be for everyone, who knows? But they didn't mention any careers like dentistry. It could be a surprise for later. But they mentioned the other features already...
Hmm. Well you know what would be cool, Piedatrics? Then we could take our babies for check ups, monitor their growth, even our toddlers. Get more gameplay. Right now we only have doctors when you're really sick. But the hospitals are so buggy, that unless I'm playing a doctor I just buy the medicine.
Wait...we just have doctors. And that's when it hit me. We have doctors already. In another expansion pack. If they added any form of human doctor in this pack it would be as if you needed this pack to make content for that pack better. When they did university it affected every job, basegame included so that was different. But doctors are GTW exclusive. Like Veternarians are Cats and Dogs exclusive and only bc they literally are for pets.

Because the Vet is in Cats and Dogs so having it be upgraded to be able to work on farm animals would be fine, if you have the pack it would kick in, just like if you have University you get the extra levels of jobs. And If you have High School you get the diplomas and it helps you into University.
Unless they changed it the only time people can actually go to the hospital is if you have someone in the doctor career and follow them to work, or if you have a pregnant sim and she goes there for delivery. The people that are worked on normally are just random sims. But I would like it if your sick sims could go there as well to be checked over and given medicine. And it would be great if they made the work places like the school where you could go in and easily change things. And yes, they need an actual place on a map. Since the places are all supposed to be on the basegame maps, it seem realistic that they could add them to the worlds the were supposed to be in by creating a new lot for each, like the school lot.
As far as I know farm animals don’t get sick, so they would have to change both packs to include that, and truthfully stray animals get sick way too often. But, if they do add a horse game pack, and update get to work they could include them….. but I hope they don’t include stray horses….

Unless they changed it the only time people can actually go to the hospital is if you have someone in the doctor career and follow them to work, or if you have a pregnant sim and she goes there for delivery.
