I haven't really played my game yet, I just went in and started giving likes and dislikes to some of my sims but I got fed up of doing it lol.
In the morning I am going to have a look at the world lots and do some editing and adding rec centres to other worlds.
I've been in CAS for the majority of the day because I deleted a bunch of CC and now I'm going through every household. They really did a great job on the CAS items.
Next on my list will be to build and/or remodel some of the houses to accommodate my families. I'm hoping I'll get to play on Saturday.
So I just jumped straight in and let the game kind of arrange things itself. The family I have been playing has set the father as Strict and the others are all jokestars. Poor strict dad gets a bit sad sometimes.
My issue at the moment is one of the kids aspirations...
I can't seem to get the 'Go 12 hours without a negative need moodlet' to work. Like I have micromanaged her for a couple sim days now and none of them have even sunk to amber... She has had other negatives as she is hot headed, but as it is specifically said NEED surely that shouldn't impact it?
Has anyone else tried it yet? I wonder if it is just me missing something?
Don't know if anyone mentioned but I was testing some things and grabbed a toddler and infant off the gallery as the family I picked didn't have youngins yet and you can adopt them, not just as care dependents.
Yes she is now his daughter and I just think that is so cute even though I have to toss this save.

yeah it is really adorable, I am just looking around at the moment so it's nice to see things I really wasn't thinking about.
So stay overs can be planned on the calander and they also gave us family reunions in events, which again sorry if someone already found that.

I haven't done anything with the gameplay yet, been too busy building houses. I forgot to save a house before I bulldozed it, so I'm stuck with the WIP house.
Aaaanyway, my main couple ended up lucking out and having amazing compatibility. Also, I discovered milestones are retroactive; my sim had milestones for things from before I installed the pack.
The BB isn't amazing, but I see a few art deco-ish pieces I plan on using. And once my sims have kids, there are a ton of clutter items I want to use.
The Sims 4 hasn't introduced a new musical instrument since 2017
I'm loving infants so far. There are so many animations and cute details with them. Kerrigan expanded her brood and promptly abandoned the child today. That's normal for Kerrigan.
It's has been a while since I've built a house.
High School Years had me building a high school, gym, special events building, and several community lots.
So I tried my hand at a Craftsman styled house.
Now I have to figure out how to organize the interior.
I think things will change as I try to figure out how to make it work.
Yeah, I just finished building a renovation for Straud's lot, a modern house with a near full basement for vampires and the children... But like you, I dont like adding "lived in clutter"; thats the part of interior dec I just dont care for.
Still, the house is rudimentarily ok for grotog.
Did play some, interesting milestone system... Might look at more later...
I literally spent all day yesterday editing my sims & their homes, lol. I’m hoping to get into live mode next week since I won’t have much time over the weekend. So far, I’m really loving this pack, though!
I'm in the middle of playing, my hand is so cramped. I just completed my baby shower for my main sims. Did you know if you get a mixologist they will make a:

I think we may have had sparkling water maybe just the tonic water. But omg this is attention to detail. I don't think we got new foods but we got new drinks. Who knew?

Do we know if premade townies and/or randomly generated townies get liked/disliked conversation topics?
All premades (likely randoms too) seem to get one random preference assigned in the Sim Characteristics category. This can be either positive or negative. They don't get any Conversation Topic preferences.

Although my Sims will be having children the old fashion way, that is a nice add to the game. Loving all these little details.

It's almost there. Just when I thought I would give it a rest, things clicked and I took it further.
I think the interior will work itself out.
I even managed to put in stairs to a basement.
Plenty of space now.
2 Bedrooms upstairs.
The Tree House seems to fit alright.
That would be awesome.

I decided to just play test the house and finish it as I play it.
So I needed a test sim.
The whole shebang.
He met several sims at this gym.
But it was Sophia Bjergsen that latched on to him.
She kept dropping by the house.
So I had her sleep over for a few days to get to know her better.
After that, I had her move in and they visited Tartosa.
To get married, because she's the one.
And then they came home to build a tree house for kids they don't have yet.
Joel needs to get to work on advancing his career as a programmer.
Because they are about to have their first child.
This is a great time to have Sophia's little sister stay over.
What a perfect time to bond.
This is a really good idea because their relationship was just at acquaintance level.
There will be so many reasons to have a sim stay over.
This a great time for Joel to get to know his new family.
It will be a while before they have a child and a teen, so Elsa can test the room for now.
