Is it okay to prefer the current state of infants. They are very good to build parental skill, after the update my Sims have to chase the infants around the lot.
Like I told my three grown kids, once the baby is mobile, it's time to put on your running shoes. LOL
Besides introducing infants, they might try again to fix the bug with sims moving while the game is paused, which was allegedly (but not really) fixed in the January patch.
I can see why they may try again, but from what I’ve seen, most people surprisingly don’t mind the bug and find it amusing. I kind of like that it’s there… it helps me sometimes when taking pictures on the camera. 🤣
I found it really creepy at first. I am less creeped out, now, but it's frustrating when you pause the game to get the picture, and your Sim moves their head out of that perfect screenshot range. Face/palm.
A modder has communicated that they are expecting a game patch on Jan 31st
Who?!! What?!! Source?!! I'm too excited! Lol.
HeyHarrie did, but said it was pure speculation based off previous releases.
The source I got my info from said they were expecting a substantial game update on the 31st, and did not say it was pure speculation. I’m not giving out the modder’s name, but it’s in the context clues also written in this speculation thread.

OH yes I've just seen that, it does seem a little more credible. Sorry for assuming you were talking about somebody else.

Definitely no need to apologize, I’m just glad we saw the same thing!

I feel the same way. It is SO frustrating and it ruined so many great moments. I really hope that this bug will be fixed for good and never comes back!
Possibly console fixes. I don’t think most people realise quite how bad it is but it’s not performing well since this weeks patch.
The control scheme in build mode is changed, I think intentionally but it doesn’t work well. And the game is crashing. I haven’t had things as bad as some but it is very noticable and some reports are that it’s unplayable.
I don’t think they’d want to go into a new expansion the way it is and I’d expect we might get something this month even if just to improve it a bit in the short term.
I think the patch will most likely solve the console crashes (such as hiring from a vendor stall from Realms of Magic)... and possibly a few other bug fixes if there are any that are ready to patched.
That was fast. I wonder if they will make the controls back to how they were or if we are stuck with them. At least people can play again now at least. Maybe I will have to buy a keyboard and mouse to play on my playstation 😂

Yes I saw that. I hope it's the infant patch.
The source was right about the patch date 2 or 3 times.
Maybe a patch on Feb 21st or no patch this month.
It seems no new kit is planned so maybe there will be 2 kits in April.

The Sims 4 General DiscussionI'd give anything if they'd fix the ferris wheel so it doesn't lose it's music when you put it on a lot.

I'm thinking the patch will just be bug fixes & console fixes, nothing important this month.
Perhaps although I'm expecting an SDX for the 23rd anniversary of the sims this week.
