Shopping Malls and Outdoor Shopping Centers

Something that felt like it would've been best in The Sims 2 Open for Business expansion pack and working in a similar way to apartments in The Sims 2 Apartment Life expansion pack. While we never really got apartments the same way in either The Sims 3 or The Sims 4. Perhaps this game could be the first to include the possiblity of having both NPC ran and player owned businesses within a new lot type called a Mall or Shopping Center. Allowing for outdoor shopping or indoor shopping. I honestly feel like it is time to introduce this to the Sims franchise as a whole.

I don't know about shopping malls as those are by definition big and would require lots of NPCs to run, but it wouldn't even be that difficult to create diplay stands from where various articles could be bought as per the BB and CAS catalogues categories, things like shoes, swimwear, t-shirts, dresses, jewelry, food stands to buy vegetables and fruit, or dairy products, or meat and fish or bread, and then we could have some proper shelves we could stock ourselves with various items to sell, like decorations and furniture and such.

I don't know about that because base game magnolia promenade technically was a shopping district and it wasn't bad when it came to npcs so a shopping mall would work but outdoor shopping center is a little better and something different like I always find myself at Henford buying groceries at the stand. Also it looks like the new expansion pack we might get outdoor shopping??? From the photos they showed.

I'm not sure about something as big as a shopping mall, but I would like to put a couple of different businesses (maybe like a strip mall) and food places/trucks that were automatically manned.
