How do I update my game?

Trying to download the 'Dirty no more changing table'
. The launcher says I need to update my game, I'm playing on Version 1.69. Why do I need to update and how when that option is now missing on the launcher?

Never mind, I just downloaded the whole set, no problem.

For future reference, this error is currently happening when someone who's playing through the EA App tries to install Store content that was originally downloaded while that person was playing Origin. (I suppose it could happen when switching between different types of installs, e.g. between Steam and the EA App, or between computers, as well.) The fix is to redownload the content.

I'm trying to update my game from 1.62 to 1.69 sims 3 disc version however the launcher says its up to date however on origin it says sims 3 need an update. After trying that it says access was denied to the drive. Any Solutions?

Maybe switch from origin to EA app ? See if that works.

There isn't a 1.69 disk version. That will load Origin. You want to go only to 1.67. There is a Super patch for that.
