I'd like to see EMS as its own career. In some other games, it was considered a starting position in the medical career, but it's completely separate in most communities.
I would like some active jobs that usually come from a trade school, such as plumber and repairman, hairdresser and barber, pastry chef and regular chef, baker, butcher, dress maker, shoe maker, watch maker, car mechanic, carpenter, jeweler, bartender, waiter, butler and nanny, etc.

I want an active singer career.
I'd like to have following rabbit hole careers: model, dentist, banker and movie director,
and following parttime jobs: janitor (early and late shift available), spa specialist, tutor, maid (early and late shift available) and baker.
I'd love to see a singing career (rock and pop branch) in game, EA! You can't let the singing skill go to waste! My TS4 EPs: GTW, GT, CL, C&D, S, GF, IL, DU, EL, SE, CoL, HSYGPs: OR, SD, DO, V, P, JA, SV, RoM, DHD, MWS Kits: DL
crocobaura, EnkiSchmidt and Erja888 all had some ideas that sounded good. The new jobs don't have to all be active, though it would be cool if a few had the option. I would quite like nurses and vicars as rabbit hole jobs. Maid/cleaner would be a good active career, and I liked the active daycare option in Sims 3. Sims 2 had the hairdresser/makeup artist option if you ran it as a business, and Sims 3 had a similar career. I'm pretty sure you could play a psychiatrist in Sims 3.
I often play historical themes so something that would work well for those games would be perfect, but I'm not quite sure what would work as so much of the game is tied to modern technology.
I would love an active music career that includes, bands with lead singer, more instruments, performing in venues etc.
PLEASE FIX TEENS IN TS4! I NEED YOUNGER TEENS NOT YA TEENS! (^_^)Please add Music Bands with lead singers! Please add vehicles and garages! Vehicles have always been part of The Sims.

I think they could still put historical jobs in its the sims so they can do stuff even if its not realistic. @Mariefoxprice83
I'd like for them to add to the active jobs, like from Get to Work. They added the Baking skill with that expansion, so adding a pastry chef would probably have to be done with an entire pack refresh. Even if the job is in an office all day, there could be socializing by the water cooler and if you get promoted, you get to go and select an office space, which you'd be able to customize like an apartment. Put a little mini-golf thing in the corner, and an oversized plump chair if you can afford it. True, most activity of the job would be just watching a sim type on a computer, but they already did that for the open high schools, what I hear. They could also add back the co-worker and boss relationship effects on career progress from earlier sims games. Giving you a reason to follow sims to work to make them socialize more.
Also Politics could be altered to use the Town Voting thingy from eco lifestyle. I've noticed it in my game, I didn't touch it much and the neighborhood seems to keep electing new ones, and the old ones stay up there. Now, I could turn it off in options, I understand, but It doesn't feel realistic. I'd alter it so you had politicians to vote for. They would show each one has certain laws they were for, and ones they are against on their panel, so each time you vote, you only get certain ones, and only for that sim week, or however long they do it for. Politicians would probably have a lot of activities outside of work, socializing with people. If they worked it out so your sim could run for election, that would be too cool.
Hair Stylist like get paid like an actual hair salon, tattoo and piecer, an actual yoga instructor, nail stylist. Car Salesman, Car Mechanic, A Principal, A teacher, Mayor. Mostly Active Careers lol.
Be yourself; life is not about pleasing others, it's about pleasing yourself. Don't try to please others if it makes you uncomfortable. If others judge you for who you are, ignore them. If what you do makes you happy, continue.
An active care-giving career. Maybe a social work career where you go to people's homes like in DHD. Maybe early childhood or extra special ed where you go in to class and have to manage the students and help them with developmental skills instead of just lecturing as in HSY. Maybe working in a nursing home.
-No, my almost-elderly mother, I don't think it's a good time for you to try for a baby.
-Yes, person I barely know, you have my blessing to hang out with Johnny Zest.
-No person with the mean, hot-headed and self-absorbed traits, I don't think you should get married.

@Goodywood I would like that to and I know its been asked for a lot so I think it has good odds of being in the game.
