Voldemort is Dead.
No, not at the battle of Hogwarts. In this Universe he died when he tried to kill Harry Potter while Harry was a baby.
Regulus Black succeeded in hunting down and destroying all his horcruxes. Regulus destroyed Naghini the night Voldemort went after Harry.
Unfortunately Regulus died afterwards. So did Voldemort, as his soul had nowhere to go with no anchor in this world at all. Perhaps he could have used Harry himself as a horcrux if he had known it was possible and he was properly prepared to carry it out. What happened in that other Universe was an accident, bolstered by his attachment to the other horcruxes. So... he's dead.
This is the premise I am working with as I create and play my own Hogwarts scenario.
I'm an not interested in playing out the books and movies as written because I am too familiar with the story and it would probably be tedious and boring to recreate and play out the story scenario as written. I just want to have fun in the Potterverse and play with character and even fan-fiction premises.
So what is this exactly?
It's more of a Let's Play, with story bits thrown in.

There is plenty to do before I can begin playing all of this seriously.
I am going to put all the professors and support staff in Hogwarts so they can build their magical skills.
Mcgonagal and Snape were saved to my library and still have their Magic Levels, but they still don't know enough spells.
It's currently Spring, so maybe I will have them all skilled up and all the other characters and their families in place by Autumn.
Hagrid and Fang are all set to go.
We need a werewolf hunting grounds lot trait.
I have Vampire Nexus, Spooky, but nothing for werewolves. I want to make a Forbidden Forest lot.
I guess I can make a werewolf club and have them hang out there.
In my Potterverse, Regulus Black found and destroyed all the Horcruxes, thus Voldermort died when he tried to kill Harry.
So, the Malfoys are snooty and arrogant, but not as evil as they were in the books and movies. There is no Voldemort to terrify them into supporting him. Malfoy Manor is located in Brindleton Bay.
Luna Lovegood and her father are also in Brindleton Bay.
However, they live on the island where I removed the museum for their home.
Sirius Black and Harry will live here, in Britechester.
Nope, no Dursleys. Perhaps I should make them anyway, so Harry can drop by and get some revenge on them now and then for all the abuse they heaped on him.
I had another small problem.
I found a nice home for the Weasley's on the gallery. but I can't find a good location for it.
A perfect one is in Henford-On-Bagley, but I don't want them living so close to Hogwarts.
I don't want any students or their families, who have to take the train, living in Henford.
Glimmerbrook was the second world I tried, but the largest lot is too small. But I went back to it several tries later
I had to sacrifice the river, but that river didn't make much sense anyway. So I guess the Weasleys will live in Glimmerbrook.
Also Pansy Parkison's family gets the ROM mansion, not to far away from Malfoy Manor.
And Blaise Zabini, not too far from the Parkisons.
I should research all these characters. Blaise lives only with his mother, who has been widowed seven times.
She sounds like Olive Specter.
Hermione Granger's house.
I moved the Malfoys into the world and I really want to play them, also Pansy and Blaises' families, since they live so close together.
Malfoy and Harry and the rest of their age group will be first years as I play Fred and George's age group as the first rotation at Hogwarts.
It has been fun looking up Wizarding World lore, but it's also been confusing. I kept coming across a Lyra Malfoy as Draco's older sister. I think it's fan-fiction canon. But I like the idea of Narcissa wanting a daughter since the world seems at peace now.
I believe I will have them have a baby girl named Lyra before I send Draco off to Hogwarts.
This house is huge.
Why not bring in more children?
I found Sirius Black and Remus Lupin sims on the gallery.
I will move in Harry soon, but I think his story is he stayed with the Dursleys as a baby, to protect him from any revenge from the remaining death eaters. Things seem safe now and Sirius will adopt him.
I imagine Remus will pair up with Nymphadora Tonks still.
I need to find someone for Sirius. In the books and movies, his life was interrupted by being in The Order of the Phoenix and being imprisoned in Azkaban. But that never happened here, so he is free to live his life.
Remus being a werewolf did happen, so I had to go and make him into one.
Of course this means he is a squib because he can't be a spellcaster and a werewolf.
I will probably get him cured after I get bored with him being a werewolf and just pretend he has his werewolf curse under control.
That's it for now.
I have a lot of sims and lots to place before I can get started. Plus I need to get my professor and other adult magic users educated before I can start on the children.
