Make Me an Offer showing items I already own

Make Me an Offer has been acting strange this past week or two and showing me things I already own. Sometimes it shows all items I already have or it will be a mix of new and existing items. When I see something that looks familiar, I will click on it and confirm there is already a blue download button for it.

The Sims 3 Store in general has been a little strange lately and sometimes gives a bad gateway error upon logging in, but usually a refresh will take me back to the site; however, I think those issues might be related to this issue.

Are you also experiencing what @LauraBow described? It seems to be working for me.

I own everything but Make Me an Offer still tries to sell owned items.

Make Me an Offer eventually stopped showing me items I already own, but the sporadic 502 Bad Gateway error persists. Some days the store works just fine and other days the error pops up randomly - either when logging in, browsing, or purchasing. I can usually refresh/try again to do what I needed to do, but this error is definitely new as of the last few months.

Now Make Me an Offer works, "We are truly impressed!" is back.

But I can't download these 2 sets, Sims3launcher say I don't own them :

• Seeing Stars
• Romanza Ceremony + Attire

I've seen this issue too, sporadically over the past couple months. The most recent time was perhaps three nights ago, where every offer I saw included an item I already owned. These were mostly items that are part of sets I've bought, but at least one (Lord Vladimir's Magic Cauldron), I had bought on its own before buying the set with a CYS discount.

@LeGardePourpre I've seen this error too, where the launcher say I don't own something. Refreshing the store page usually fixes it, although it's taken multiple refreshes at times.

@LeGardePourpre I'm not sure what you mean. I only mentioned one single item by name, not any sets, and the cauldron is in fact part of multiple sets that are eligible for CYS. I completed both January 2012 and Best of 2012 with CYS, so the cauldron shows up at least half a dozen times in my purchase history by itself and as part of sets or compilations I own.

I own all the items but I didn't purchase Seeing Stars and Romanza Ceremony + Attire.

CYS is disabled for these 2 sets so the store can't detect the owned items. That's why they can't be downloaded, I must buy them.
