I got whacked a good one, a week ago today. I kept hearing bits and pieces on the radio (yes, I have Talk Radio on in the background when I play the game). I heard somebody died at the age of 96, but didn't hear who it was until much later in the afternoon! This struck a cold hard blow to me. My most favorite of ALL-TIME actress has passed away. Angela Lansbury. She played the iconic Jessica Fletcher in "Murder, She Wrote". She was also the voice of Mrs. Potts from "Beauty & the Beast". "Bednobs and Broomsticks", "Gaslight" and several other movies. I just watched another very good TV movie from England, "The Shell Seekers". Yesterday I indulged in "The Court Jester". This one is pure fantasy and fun. I laughed, which is something I very much needed. I hadn't seen that movie since I was a girl. So much fun seeing it with my adult eyes. All the more funny because I truly understood what was going on.
The world just isn't the same without her in it. Even though she hasn't worked in some time, now, just knowing she was still with us was enough. Also sad that she was just five days away from her 97th birthday. I should live to be that old.

I have recorded many Murder, She Wrote episodes to get me through the long nights. If I have a string of seven I can sleep until 4 Am.

So loved Bedknobs and Broomsticks, for the dance numbers if nothing else!
