My sims 5 Wish List

1. (Wants and Fears) more advanced system from the sims 2.
2. Memories recorded from important life events.
3. Neighborhood and personal sim biographies/create Storylines
4. Rewards for success and wants. ( Life Points)
5. Consequences for failures (Minus Life Points)
6. Traits options acquired over time due to a sims personal experiences in life
7. Failure Insanity - Sims slowly losing their minds due to failure or sad life events.
8. Traits - More to do with opinions and interests of the sims- Good doers, Charity helper, menace, selfish, Narcissistic, evil, anti social, socially awkward, geek, More likeable, obnoxious, hot headed, irrational, Delusional, clumsy, gloomy, cheerful, extremely cheerful, negative Nelly, stuck up, gossip queen, romantic, obsessive romantic, paranoid, simple minded, creative spirit, attention seeker, perfectionist, etc…
9. Point system from the sims 1-2 that have to do with basic traits every sim would have such as how brave or cowardly a sim is. Or how neat or slobbish a sim is. Traits would cover more of this but some of the more basics could be on a scale.
10. Aspirations that have to do with traits some may even be called the same as some traits such as - Creative soul, good doer, Evil, Career/entrepreneur, lover, fighter, simple life, Hopeless romantic, Family, Popularity, Gossip queen, ultimate love player, Perfectionist, self absorbed Aspiration, follower aspiration, leader/influencer aspiration, Party Animal Aspiration etc…
11. Likes and dislikes or opinions that have impact on how sims react to items, furniture, other sims, could include opinions about colors, fashion styles, movies, games, sims with traits such as good doer sims or evil sims, whether they like or hate, admire or feel neutral about.
12. More complicated relationships ( Point system to build up or tear down) some more unusual ones could be, No strings attached lover, Frenemy, Lustful enemy, Very best friend, worst enemy, sibling rivalry, so- so, major one sided crush, one sided love or friend obsession, Lovers ultimate bond, Lustful lovers, kind of like, casual dating, Admiration, role model, annoyed or irritated by, friendly but not friends, jealous of, resents, back stabbed, ultimate betrayal, cheater etc…

14. Open world
15. Create a style
16. Sexual orientation with turn ons and turn offs that include traits and likes and dislikes as well as physical traits such as blonde hair, brown hair, fatter, skinnier, shorter, taller
17. Height scale - doesn’t have to be outrageous but you should be able by now to make sims a little taller or shorter than each other.
18. Each life stage makes a sim look a bit noticeably different, especially teenagers, young adults, adults and elders, they shouldn’t all look the same as they did when they were teenagers.
19. Career genres such as Medical, education, Writing, Fame, political, Janitorial, retail etc…with different career branches added on throughout the expansions and games.
20. Funerals/Celebration of life.
21. Actual ghosts - Not just transparent sims. But Good ghost sims, neutral sim ghosts and evil sim ghosts ultimately depending on who they are when they are alive. As ghosts they should have limitations to the living otherwise what’s the point of them dying and becoming a ghost in the first place? They should also have perks that living sims don’t have such as floating through walls, moving objects or furniture, possessing or haunting the living, making things appear or disappear, scaring a sim to death, giving a sim nightmares, paranormal abilities the living don’t have. This should add some fun dark possibly creepy humor to the game.
22. Edgy dark humor - it is a T rated game. Not E. It should push the boundaries more then the fourth game. Mild violence such as interactions as slapping, sucker punching, karate fighting, mimicking, harsh poking fun or teasing, making fun of, shoving, pulling hair, female/cat fighting. More romantic gestures such as harsh rejection like a sim smacking the other for trying to kiss, or wanting to beat up another sim for cheating, sims cuddling at night while sleeping, sims fighting so they purposely sleep away from each other, just a little more risky behavior.
23. Burglary, hurtful neighborhood gossip, reputations, I think the game could add more mischief and still do it in a way that remains T rated.
24. Fullfillment meter bar or life point meter of how fulfilled a sim feels about their life.
25. Phobias - could be an interesting addition such as fear of clowns, critters, the dark, big groups of public, fighting, etc…
26. Just expansion packs and every once in a while items or things we can pay separately for if we don’t want the entire expansion.
27. Grocery stores, shopping outlets for fashion, all types of businesses that require sims to leave the house or at the very least order from their phone for home delivery.
28. Transportation. Cars, bikes, roller skating, delivery vehicles such as something like a sims fed Ex. Food take out options, delivery of almost anything from a an outlet store or grocery market.
29. Separate money accounts for each individual sim. Like their own personal bank account and expenses. Starting at the teenager life stage.
30. Seasons which should be included in the base game in my opinion. Holidays should be an expansion pack but Seasons should now be basic gameplay with harsher weather disasters and storms.
31. Free will should have three options versus two. Option 1 off. Option 2 medium. Option 3 free will max.
32. Game mode: Normal mode or hard. Hard mode will effect the game making simple thing like job promotions, life goals, social interactions and relationships a little harder to build up and may take more time and effort.
33. A good balance of realism and imaginative escapism with humor.
34. Create your own open world with one or two medium or large size open worlds pre created at launch for players.
35. Customization of life stages and other smaller game mechanics that players would rather have control over versus the game controlling, Like how many days tell aging to the next life stage.

I realize this is a lot. But I don’t believe we will see the sims 5 tell 2025 so I hope a lot of it makes it into the game that’s on this list. After ten years I think it’s possible. Especially when a ground breaking ahead of it’s time game The Sims 2 was managed to be made in four years. Releasing in 2004, when the first Sims game was released in 2000. Really hopelessly hopeful that the sims team revives this franchise and makes it what it could truly be.

    My wish list is this:

    1. Color wheel returns either in-game or as a separate program bundled with the game.
    2. Create a pattern returns in-game or as a separate program bundled with the game.
    3. World editing returns as a separate program bundled with the game. This program could also make edited world uploads available only through the tool.
    4. One-player offline mode remains available and playable from day one.
    5. If the game must be multiplayer or have a multiplayer element, don't neglectf tfffcccccccccccccccccccccccccfcfcfcfcfcfcfcfcfcfccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccc cccfccccccc
    6. Compatible with PC, Mac, Android, iPhone, iPad, Amazon Kindle app store, Meta Oculus store, and Steam store/Steam VIVE controllers. Cloudplay version (less memory required and fewer features offline) available separately for those without a lot of storage space on their phone. Intensive offline play version also available for those of us with powerhouse desktops and laptops with plenty of hard drive space and updated graphics cards.

    7. Avoids accidentally installing the same thing twice: once from EA app and once from Steam EA, or once from XBox EA, does not automatically override each other, but creates a notification on install whether to install two instances, or overwrite the existing installation (especially the document files). The notice should include whether packs purchased on one service carry over to another service or not. (Example: Currently if you have Sims 3 on Steam, only the packs you bought on Steam show up with that game. If you bought Steam 3 on origin, only the packs you bought on Origin/EA app show up in your game.)
    8. Kit content available as FREE to EA Pro subscription, if kits are repeated.
    9. Every stuff pack must add new game play or at least 2 items that would otherwise be considered scripted objects.
    10. CAS: Medical items return, including facial mask and medical accessories, like stethoscopes, hearing aids make a return.
    11. CAS: Nails return plus the option to accessorize/add ornaments to nails.
    12. CAS color wheel available. Pattern wheel available as separate application or other part of the game.
    13. Build mode: More variations of the EZ exit window. I love, love, love secret passages and doors. A door that looks like it is a wall to floor mirror or painting would be cool.
    14. More careers, plus a career creation tool sold separately or bundled with the game.
    15. Event calendar and clubs make a return.
    16. Toddlers in game within less than 3 months from release (preferably AT release).
    17. Pools, ghosts, and dishwashers in game within less than 3 months from release.
    18. Items previously offered as base game in other Sims series games added free within 1 year of release.
    19. Yes, that old heart bed and cowplant make a comeback.
    20. CARS!!! And buses and functional subways and railways. (Subway and railway stations can be rabbit holes, but make sure the Sim is naturally out of sight inside the rabbit-hole before it disappears.)
    21. Car repair. Yup, it is one of the costs of having a car. Gas stations with mini-marts too? (My Sims want Slurpees and more junk food! Except the Wellness specialists.)
    22. Professional office rabbitholes with cut-scenes available.
    23. Cut-scenes/mini games when loading to online play areas.
    24. Cut down the loading screens and make it more open world, striking a balance between Sims moving between neighborhoods and Sims visiting next door neighbors. If there is loading to the next door neighbor house, this should have been a cut-scene rather than a straight loading screen. We also need more loading screens.
    25. Modders almost always add alternate loading screens and alternate CAS background screens in Sims 4, but only one will work for each. Maybe there could be a different area, such as "Overrides" to add these like they did with alternate .cfg files?

    I have been playing The Sims since 2001, when Livin Large came out. My avatar deliberately looks like Chris Roomies from TS1.

    My wish list for Sims 5:
    1. Pre-teens - I would like pre-teens for an age in the middle of a child and teen. Because if I'm trying to make a real-life family a 12 or 13-year-old wouldn't necessarily be a child or a teen. Just something in between.
    2. Seasons should be a part of the base game. Like what Bren91 said Holidays can be separate but for Seasons more harsher weather.
    3. Children should be able to help with younger ages ( toddlers, infants, babies.). They should be able to read to them, for infants and babies they should be able to rock their crib, get toddlers food, they should also be able to hold babies in a chair ( like when you first meet a baby at the hospital ), etc.
    4. You should add more items for babies or infants. For example: bouncers, changing tables, pacifiers (in CAS), diaper packages, baby wipes, baby powder, etc.
    5. Transportation. Cars, bikes, roller skates, subways, buses, food take-outs/delivery ( food market, clothing outlets, fast food.).
    6. Height scale, you should add a scale in CAS that can make your Sim a bit shorter or taller. Not everyone is the same height.
    7. Going back to transportation for buses. Children and teens should have the option to walk, ride the bus, or drive to school. If you pick to ride the bus, they should either go to a bus stop and get on the bus or another option is the bus stops in front of their lot.
    8. Businesses. You should be able to start your own business. Businesses to choose from: clothing brands ( you can pick an athletic brand, formal brand/wedding clothes, casual clothing, all types of clothing.), selling business ( you can sell medicine, electronics, furniture, etc. ), author or illustrator ( I know you can already be an author I just feel like it's your own business unless if you work with a company.).
    9. More colors of hair and eyes. There are already the basic hair and eye colors but I think you could add some more. ( not a big want though ).
    10. Better adopting system. The adoption system could be better. You should add a lot more children, infants, babies, and maybe even teens. You should be able to pick the category of what age of child you want (child, baby, infant, teen.). For teens mostly maybe even children, when they arrive at their new home later on they can get a trait like: unsure ( not sure about new household/home ), home-sick ( not used to this environment ), warming up ( warming up to household and home ).
    11. Funerals, baby showers, new life

    Sorry, but I just remembered!

    12. Acne and hair growth shouldn't come with the High School Pack, it should be a part of the base game. You should add some other things to puberty in the game too. Like: hair growth in the armpits (female and male), chest hair and facial hair growth (male), washing face, face masks, pimple cream when they get a few pimples or an acne break out, acne treatment ( you have to treat acne for 2-3 weeks ), period ( when they get a blood stain on pants they get embarrassed trait, putting on pads, tampons or period swimming bottoms for water activities, cramps, btw for females. ). If you add pre-teens you should have them start their period during that age ( for females) and include all the puberty things I have mentioned start at the pre-teen age. Pre-teens should start puberty at different times than others.

    For me:

    FROM SIMS 1:

    Multi-purpose community lots.

    Pool tables,video game arcade machines and pinball machines.


    FROM SIMS 2:

    We should have the ability to own our own businesses.

    All the little animations and other things that made Sims 2 so life-like.

    FROM SIMS 3:

    Create-a-World

    Color Wheel for Sims, pets and farm animals.

    FROM SIMS 4:

    The easy basement tool.

    OTHER THINGS:

    No more endless townie spawning! We should be allowed to fill our towns with the Sims WE make!

    Sims should have the personalities of the Sims 2 Sims.

    No more pointless and useless decor buildings or rabbit holes! 1 or 2 rabbit holes are fine,but they become annoying when you plunk several of them into each new pack you turn out.

    Give us a home-schooling option for our kids.

    No more tiny worlds! They are practically useless!

    Toddlers,ghosts,pools,graveyards,pets,basements,and all occults should be in the base game.

    Let us have height sliders for adults so we can create short Sims and really tall Sims.

    No more kits or game packs,please. Just stick with Expansion packs and Stuff packs.
