Trouble with a job opportunity in Moonlight Falls, any ideas to fix this?

I have a sim who is in Moonlight Falls in the Paranormal Career. She got a job opportunity at the police station. As she would finish up and be walking out the door. It would say that she completed the task, but then a script error would happen, and the opportunity was not completed. I read that the 3 careers, police, city hall, and military in the same building, are bad about this. So I took the time to add those three careers in their own buildings. Meaning I placed a police station on one lot, a military base on another lot, and the city hall on a third lot. This did not solve my problem. Any other ideas that I can do to fix this?

I don't know what level you r sim has reached in the career. Is this the ghost hunter career? That career has bugs. The only way I've ever been able t o get a sim to level 10 in that career was to put him into a different household and leave him to it. That seemed to do the trick as next time I checked on him he was at level 10.
