@February11 I don't think they do patch notes on the app. At least I never saw any from Origin? Usually just a popup saying it was going to update (when I had auto off).

My Sims3 is definitely working better now w/store content. Didn't have a problem with the other two.

My sims 3 store content still wasn't showing earlier this week. :( I will have to test again because I don't know if this was before or after this weeks patch.

Until today after the new patch though I could still run 3 okay I sometimes had to restart game to get it to show. Now everything just fell into place and I am really really hoping it stays that way. Hopefully for you soon too.

I don't really like the EA APP because it's missing some settings that Origin had, like NOT JUMPING IM MY FACE when ending the game! Even though I shrinked it to my task bar, it will ALWAYS pop up in my face covering half of my desktop, no matter if I start or end the game. Why?

I strongly recommend not trying to merge your game with steam. I lost my game and all my dlc and after much screaming and rebooting my computer I finally got the EA app to download the sims 4 base game. It's still downloading so I'm hoping it can be fixed and I can play my game again.

Totally broke my game. I really hate this app!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Origin fixed my game. The EA app couldn't fix it no matter how many times I repaired the game. I had to sit staring at the screen of EA app is your new gaming app while origin did the repairs. Then the EA app deleted the origin files in my computer which it hadn't done before when I switched to the EA app. Before it just uninstalled origin, this time it deleted the origin files off my computer.

EA dumped a broken app on us and took away a working launcher that could actually repair the sims game.

I have a question to ask and it is a very important one where I want an answer concerning The Sims 4. I did not lose any dlc when switching from Origin to EA App, but I am worried about me making a new purchase on Steam or EA App because of the fact I originally purchased basegame from Steam instead of Origin or EA App. I wanted to stay on Origin as long as possible, but I was notified what I was using on Origin moved over to EA App where I could not use Origin anymore and if EA App is incompatible with Steam then "WHEN" will these two ever become compatible with each other and why did EA never think about making EA App and Steam "compatible" begin with? Do I have to switch The Sims 4 basegame and all of the dlc packs I purchased from Steam to EA App before I purchase a new dlc from The SIms 4 so that I can not only get newer dlc from The Sims 4, but also not lose any dlc as well that many people have complained about? If EA has not noticed any backlash yet about their new app, because of EA App and Steam not being compatible with each other (or at least not yet) I would be very surprised.

Does anyone know if the Sims 3 Store Contents work on EA App yet? I own some wonderful Store Contents like Midnight Hollow, Dragon Age & Barney Bay & so want to play them again.

My advise is to never mix the two.

If you've been buying from steam only buy from steam. If you've been buying from origin or the EA app only buy from the EA app.

So don't mix origin or EA app purchases with steam purchases.

Thank you. I do not think that it is a good idea to mix purchases with Steam and EA App. Unfortunately, I do not think that EA App is going to compatible with Steam anytime soon, but hoping that I am wrong where EA notices this is a big problem and tries to fix it instead of ignoring it. Some people for example (and not only just ServerFra) complained about The Sims 3 store not working properly while using EA App which leads me under the impression that people are complaining about various other games related to EA App and not only just The SIms 4.

All my store content works just fine. Including the store worlds. Also my all eps are checked on startup on launcher. That hasn't happened in awhile. Hopefully stays.

Well, I got the mandatory invite today. Wish me luck, pray for me, send me good vibes, cross your fingers, or whatever is part of your personal belief system, but I can use all the help I can get. Including backing up my entire TS4 folder. :D

Mixed results so far. I haven't checked TS3 yet to make sure that's everything's still there. For TS4, it opened up a bit faster than it usually does with Origin. The game seemed to run about the same after that.

I had to save without exiting at one point, though. Eliza died of starvation, Bob successfully pleaded for her life, he got all the positive moodlets associated with that, Grim resurrected her, and then she instantly died of starvation a second time. I don't think that's necessarily related to the EA app, though, it just seems like TS4 being TS4.

I have had no problems at all with TS4. Like you, I still haven't tried playing TS3. I'm a bit reluctant to yet as I don't want to find any problems. While TS4 is running fine, I'm happy.
I've noticed since the last EA App update, both my games show up in my installed games section, whereas, more often than not, TS3 wasn't appearing.

@Kickson74, you might need to go over to EA help and try to get in touch with someone from customer services over that can help you.

I posted this in another thread, but the EA app wont load sims3 at all and I dont know why. I explained the details in the Sims3 error thread, not sure if its the game, or if its the EA app, but sims 4 runs fine. Sims3 is superior imo

All my Sims are running great on the App have you tried repair game? Or clear the App Cache? If still doesn't work after that then check the help section and hopefully can get up and running.

I have tried repairing game, it says repair complete but it doesnt fix anything. I've read the help section on the EA app, and on here but nothing helps. I've noticed in the EA app help forum theres dozens of other people experiencing the same issue :( Some people believe that sims 3 doesnt work on PC, only Mac. And I dont know if thats true, I know sims4 made the switch but I would have thought sims3 would have been legacied as well.

@Stones36 Until the latest update "APP" 3 was still glitchy ie: store content but since then its fine. Did you have the latest update?

I think I just resolved this for you, can you check the email associated with the account for a password reset email and let me know if that helps?
