GP are in groups of 4 (Supernatural mark the end of each group)

Yeah, I was working about this theory, as Supernatural al GP multiple of 4, and could take them as end of a period of GPs, also if take the other 9 for now, we have at each period:

Profession/Active GP
Vacation GP
Generations GP (TS3 Generations EP and related themes)
Supernatural GP (This is always end of period)

GP01 - Outdoor Retreat
GP02 - Spa Day
GP03 - Dine Out
GP04 - Vampires
GP05 - Parenthood
GP06 - Jungle Adventure
GP07 - Strangerville
GP08 - Realm of Magic
GP09 - Journey to Batuu
GP10 - Dream Home Decorator
GP11 - My Wedding Stories
GP12 - Werewolves
GP13 -
GP14 -
GP15 -
GP16 - Fairies

What would be your guess for vacation GP, for profession/active GP, for Generations GP?

Obviously, for Generations slot, everyone want a Romance GP

EDIT: as disclaimer I admit, to make it, put at same type Parenthood, My Wedding Stories, Spa Day. Same for Strangervile (with Dine Out and Dream Home Decorator)

    I really don't want to wait another multiple years for another occult. It's not fair to occult players.

    I really, really hope it doesn't take another 3 years to get the Fairies & 3 more years to get the Genies. Once every year would do nicely.

    I noticed that the occults came every 4 gamepacks but this is an interesting theory. If I had to guess upcoming game packs based on my wishes/highly requested features, it would:
    Generations - Childhood or Elder centered pack
    Active - Hotels and Resorts or an active heist pack
    Destination - a lot of possibilities, I think there's a fair bit of hope for an African centered world. I would really like more beaches or a French themed world with the nectar making skill returning.

    Also, I remember that a while ago they updated the game's code for more GP placeholders up to I think 20. With two being released so far this year, I don't think it's inconceivable that we might continue to get multiple gamepacks a year with kits and have stuff packs completely phased out.

    a theory yes but idk what is considered gp these days
    as they steer further and further away from adding gameplay

    I guess I could see hotels gp of some sort
    but idk if it would be more like dine out/spa day where theres no world but just focus on like venue related things

    or if it would like be travel pack basically but with hotels on side this time
    but also that just sounds like kinda hard to do without sacrificing gameplay possibilities for either world or the venue

    rest is more vague really cause i feel like if stuff packs still exist they might do ones for generations themes too like since we have kids room and toddler stuff would we also have baby stuff or would that become gp theme or simply updates or update + kit for some items idk

    i just kinda feel like they probably want to cash in on people wanting better babes in some way

    aaand then I am conflicted what to guess for third one
    see if hotels are venue thing then there might be another travel theme with like world and related hobby thing
    but if hotels are travel thing then there might be another venue theme like say amusement park or something

    and tbh i could kinda see how hotels/travel and heists/robbers might align
    ooor then these all could just be back to batuu or whatever i guess and people be mad
    ooor it could be some fun theme we do not foresee cause it has yet to exist

    ooor they could actually do something like bands or cars as gp
    but they probably won't cause why wouldn't they just flood those pack with random items and call it ep

    anyway guess is if this pattern makes sense
    and theres gonna be like 20 gp and gp 16 is fairies
    then gp 20 could be dragons but boy is that a wait

    I would really like to see an adventure pack. Jungle Adventure, Stranger Ville and Batuu are great for my game.


    GP04 - Vampires
    GP05 - Parenthood
    GP06 - Jungle Adventure
    GP07 - Strangerville
    GP08 - Realm of Magic
    GP09 - Journey to Batuu

    All of these packs have been so good for my game, hope to see something that makes me dream of making different stories again. The heist-pack could be really good but it depends on how it is made. I used to thing that the High School-pack would be a given for me but it doesn't suit me at all. Too much phone-dependence and too geographically placed in the US for me to try to make it into a school for meer-people, a school in the Star Wars universe or whatever save I feel inclined to play that day. Still keeping my finger crossed for the heist-pack, it could be really fun!

    Many players won't like 4 occult game packs in a row.

    They also need time to think about the best way to do it.

    Im not asking for multiple occult packs in a row. I just dont really see how its fair that occult packs are few and far in between. It almost feels like occult play is an afterthought,(despite it having always had a part in the series) and I know that there are occult players who have similar sentiment. And whenever occult play is brought around, there's always the worry of a nerf or underwhelming gameplay. Honestly I want to see one occult pack a year until the end of TS4, whether it be GP or SP (or dare I ask even just one occult focused EP) or at least every other year. And it doesnt even have to be a new lifestate, Im fine with occult oriented activities similar to our Paranormal sp. Im not digging waiting 2 to 3 years just for one and having to be fine with it.

    I'm not sure all the releases fit the terms of vacation, profession/active and Generations (I'm not sure how my dream home vacation, how is outdoor retreat profession, and strangerville Generations for example, but it might just be something I'm not seeing entirely. but I'll make that list anyways:

    vacation GP - Hotels (maybe Casino as well) - this could actually work with Profession as well (for the staff), I think, but it probably best fits in vacation. Maybe it could be a type of vacation world theme.

    profession/active GP - Either something focused more on music entirely, or a hobbies type pack with music, exercise, and arts and crafts (maybe 2 of Woodworking, Metal Working, Pottery, Glass blowing). I'm definitely leaning to the "active" side of this more than profession.

    Generations GP? - This is a tough one for me. I'm not much of a generational player. Romance or something for elders as suggested. I'm really drawing a blank on an original idea. Unless it's FreeTheBabies and specifically a babies type of pack.
    It's kind of sad that I have to point out that anything I say is only just my opinion and may be a different one from someone else.

    I don't agree at all, it's only recently it's become a "happy families simulator" with weirdness at the back. Sims 2 literally every expansion came with an occult life state... Weirdness and occult chaos has always been at the heart of the sims. Although I do agree I wouldn't have wanted just one occult game pack after the next, that would've been too much, but still it shouldn't be two and a half years between every occult pack

    I actually recently noticed (even before reading this thread) that every 4th Gamepack tends to be an occult-themed one. I never took into consideration the vacation/profession/generations-esque pattern as I don't particularly pay that much attention to that form of gameplay. (I use it in conjunction with my occult playstyle but never alone with the occult play) so that's actually a very good call.

    As I really don't want to wait another two and a half years before getting another occult pack, I'm hoping that they'll continue the 2GPs a year trend from here on out, but I don't want to hold out too much hope based on another pattern I've noticed regarding GPs, in which it tends to alternate between 1 and 2 GPs a year (with 2021 being the exception, presumably due to Covid and many people still working from home)

    2015 - 2 GPs
    2016 - 1 GP
    2017 - 2GPs
    2018 - 1 GP
    2019 - 2GPs
    2020- 1GP
    2021 - 1GP
    2022 - 2GPs

    If this pattern continues (ignoring 2021 for the moment) we'll probably get 1 GP in 2023, and 2 GPs in 2024, none of which would be occult based on the current pattern of them coming in multiples of 4, meaning the next occult would come in 2025 at the earliest, which would be incredibly unfair to occult players seeing as we get so little content as it is. Waiting to get a single pack every other year while still not great would be much more preferable than waiting till 2025 to get the next occult. Which is why I'm hoping that they'll break away from the alternating 1 GP-2GP patterns from here on out and give us 2 GPs every year until the end of TS4's lifespan. Especially since stuff packs seem to have been phased out.

    Regardless of how many GPs are released per year though, I think we should be fairly safe to assume that GP 16 is going to be the next fully occult themed pack. And since fairies and werewolves seemed sort of "tied" in regards to which one occult fans wanted first (as opposed to genies and zombies for instance) I would place my bets on Fairies being the next "big occult" with the other remaining ones coming at a later time.

    So if I were to "predict" the next 4 game packs I would imagine something sort of like this. (GP 16 being the only one that's "solid" in terms of position/order of release.

    GP 13 - Bands/Music GP (profession/active pack) - as I'm sure we're all aware by now, there are usually hints to future packs hidden in item names, descriptions, etc of other packs. And well while I can't same the same is true for HSY, I can verify there are definitely subtle hints of something music related in Werewolves. There's the new guitar we got, posters depicting music/bands in some manner (one of the posters shows a werewolf hand making the "metal horns"/"rock on" symbol for instance) and the fact that many of the pre-mades come with pre-set musical preferences (Lou likes Alternative, S-Pop, and Winter Holiday. Rory likes Metal music, Wolfgang hates metal but likes Classical. Kristopher likes focus music, Celene likes Strange Tunes?) or musically related skills (Lou has some singing skill and Jacob has guitar skill.) So I think there's a good chance that we'll get something band-related in this next set of game packs.
    GP 14 - Hotels? Or Scandinavian/Slavic inspired GP? (Travel) - I suppose this one could be both. But I haven't seen very many hints towards hotels so I'm leaning towards something either Scandinavian or Slavic simply because in a lot of recent packs there have been a lot of premades with either Scandinavian (ie Lunvik, Morlind) or Slavic (Volkov, Markovik) surnames. If not for a GP, I suppose somewhere Scandinavian or Slavic could be the setting of an EP instead.
    GP 15 - Unknown Generational Pack. - I honestly have no idea on this one.
    GP 16 - Fairies (occult pack)

    This is also a very interesting calculation honestly, and one I'm not so sure if I would have thought of myself. If the pattern you've discovered is anything to go by we could theoretically be getting a smaller occult as early as next year. Assuming we'll either get another EP this year or 2 EPS next year. While I do think most of the occult players prefer our fleshed out ones (vampires, spellcasters, werewolves) I feel a lesser occult (so long as it's not a major one people have been asking for) might make having to wait a bit longer for a proper occult a bit more tolerable. Or if not a smaller occult, perhaps horses (which I suppose could bring unicorns as well which could be considered an occult to a degree) could be a feature of EP 14

    And if indeed EP 15 is the next EP to come without a world, I'm wondering if this could be a Generations-esque pack. The team, if I remember correctly sort of semi-confirmed that TS4 would see something in a similar vein? This is the only kind of theme, I feel it would make sense to not include a world with. It's not one of my personal major "wants" but I know a lot of people do want something like this for TS4 so I think there's a chance that it could come without a world.

    Supernatural GP - Not supernatural as such but I’d say Royalty would be a fun β€˜different’ pack.
