The world looks very pretty, and I love B/B. Right now this is looking like a "buy on sale" for me. Luckily I have zero interest in the early purchase bonus items.
I really wish they wouldn't always ignore the fact that there are so many of us who play rotationally and ask over and over how the new systems will affect rotational play. They know we want to know, and it would be so simple to give an answer, but no, let's spend half an hour talking about Trendi instead.
CAS looks nice, a bit too stylish for my taste. It looks like we can save outfits in our inventory? Maybe this way we can have even more outfits available for our sims.
Good job updating the game with sexual orientation.
Very nice new build items, I like the new streaming channel.
The phone ui looks modern and I like the phone cases but I would have preferred an update to phone that they are using in the game, it doesn't look like a smartphone.
Nice new beards and body hair, I have wanted one of the beard styles that they showed for a long time. Good that we can toggle hair growth.
Good that we can control multiple teens during high school, I'm considering creating a household dorm or something.
High school feels a bit plain but feels active enough with teen sims and teachers walking around. I'm looking forward to customizing it and seeing what people build on the gallery. A pity that we can't build them in other worlds.
Nice new selfie photos. Yikes to the teen townie that walked by... and there is still lag after taking photos...
The world looks good, a lot of details and places to visit. Still limited by the sims4 engine though with very few sims walking around, at least it looked like sims did spawn at the harbor.
Sneaking out feels a bit...eh.
If you leave the active lot with one teen sim, the game will do the ! and blink for the other teen sim that is on the active lot, which is a bit annoying.
Prom looks about what I expected.
I really like the new B/B items.
Curved walls, kinda crazy that we have not had curved walls, so many castles that could have looked...like actual castles.
Overall, I liked it. I'm wondering how well this will play with rotational and with longer lifespans and aging turned off.
Pleased to see the 4 new aspirations, I can't wait to find out what each involves. Also glad that we get actual active classes rather than rabbitholes and that we can play multiple teens at school at once... I wonder if there is a limit to how many we can play though?
I wonder how those sims with jobs at the school are going to work gameplay-wise. Molly's mother, for example, is the principal, her grandfather is the janitor. If you play that household actively, will they keep their jobs somehow, or become regular unemployed sims?
Also, I'm a little disappointed by the school building. Once again a typical TS4 warehouse, with lots of big and empty rooms, and the cafeteria is especially sad with its three tables. But at least the school is fully customisable without the need for cheats, so that's a problem I can fix myself.
Other than that, great livestream, and very interesting-looking pack and base game updates! I'm looking forward to both.
After watching the livestream, I'm even more excited than I was before! I think my favorite things they showed were the sexual/romantic orientation update that's coming and the new social bunny app! Social media really did need a big upgrade in the game, since before it was superficial where you just take a photo for simstagram and you gain followers. I love now with social bunny you can add friends, post updates, and message people. Oh and the wants and fears update looks awesome too! I love how you can choose to overcome or live with the sims' fears. 😊 Overall the pack looks to be about what I expected based on the hints/teasers we've gotten leading up to the livestream.
Well, the pack looks okay, though I'm still not too interested in playing high school stuff or fashion stuff. I think I'll wait for a sale if I buy it at all. Still need more information before I make the decision.
I'm not sure about the new phone I feel like an old person complaining about how they have to learn to use new things I guess the messages could be fun for stories. I can imagine my sims texting to their crushes and being nervous what they reply, but how will it actually work and will it get old fast? Not sure. I also feel like... I don't want to spend time reading random messages and giving likes to them. I'd probably do it only with one or two teens and then stop.
I'm a bit excited about the body hair and hair growth And the sexual orientation update looked nice. I'm curious about the wants and fears, but also worried because I use whims quite a lot so how will this impact on my play.
I have to say... I actually fell asleep towards the end.
They seemed to dwell on certain things and left so much stuff unanswered. Unless I missed it all when I was resting my eyes 😄
I saw a good amount of CAS and B/B, great that we can control more than one teen at school. But where were the other classes? No cookery, art? No active classes at all except sitting at a desk?
Thank goodness we have the option not to follow them cos I can see it getting boring real fast.
Did they show whether we get little photos from the booth? The kind we could put on a pin board?
I have to say... I actually fell asleep towards the end.

My attention wavered towards the end too, but I think that was partly because it was a long stream and also because I knew I had other things to do. I enjoyed it until my attention wavered.
One thing that bothers me is how much social media/influencer type content we're getting. I know we have all those things IRL but I don't really "get" influencers and all that stuff. I rarely watch streams and Youtube videos anyway. Honestly, the official sims ones are the only ones I seek out. I'd watch a Dragon Age 4 stream when the time comes though. I'm not really interested in the Social Bunny thing and I can't see myself using it more than once in a blue moon. I tend to go for themed games where the ultra-modern stuff doesn't fit very often. I hope it's not too difficult to play 90s teens or fantasy teens or historical teens. One thing I noticed was that when they did research they watched a lot of TV shows about current teens, and talked to real life teens, but what about those of us who grew up as teens in a different era and might want a more familiar experience at times?
Here's my opinion of highschool, it looks cool but what about the work I mean so the teens just sit in the classroom and listen to the teacher lecture where's the gameplay of raising your hand, sleeping in class which if the teacher catches you that's detention, passing notes in class, talking to other classmates, taking notes in class to help homework, oh wait we didn't get to see the homework and how it will effect the grade or if it will effect the grade. Also your telling me the big game day is Sims throwing a football on a feild to each other and cheerleading on the mat I would much rather have the game a rabbit hole like DU and have football and cheerleading like a practice before the big game like in DU.

Thank you like the skipped over the biggest tv shows that were so late 90s early 2000 like Degrassi next gen, One Tree Hill, The OC, Gossip Girl. I know they want to keep up with the times but what about the nostalgia? I'm with you on influencers I don't watch them I don't follow them so it will be interesting to see how to play in game.

Ill be honest, those aren't shows I watched, but there's things like The Fresh Prince of Bel Air and the other 90s teen sitcoms that I grew up on.

Those shows were mostly like Dawson's Creek, Buffy, Clueless centered around highschool.

I figured but I missed all of those. I did try to watch Buffy a few years ago and it's a shame I didn't watch it when I was a teen because I got it more, but as an adult I found the stereotypical stuff somewhat cringy. I do still love The Fresh Prince of Bel Air though (I watched some yesterday). My brother recently reminded me about Heartbreak High, an Australian teen show we used to watch back in the day. It's on Netflix so I might have to give that another go soon. And this is why my Netflix list never seems to get any smaller.
If there is still time to implement this before release, please please give us the ability to click on the whiteboards and set which subjects are taught on which whiteboard. This would enable us to build specialized classrooms for each subject (i.e. teach art in the art room, have science class in a room with the periodic table on the wall and an elements collection, etc.) plus have different teachers for each, since the teacher seems to be tied to the whiteboard. Judging from the livestream and creator network content, it looks like the current software has every class taught in one room by one teacher (even though the venue requires two whiteboards), and it seems like this would be so easy to fix with a simple "set subjects per whiteboard" feature.
Thank you for listening to my suggestion, and great work on this pack! Can't wait to play it.
