Supernaturals in relation to one another

Are all supernatural sims scared of Greg?

My super vampire is like a baby with Greg and I just think it's ridiculous. I wish I could choose who is more powerful (not necessarily for Greg but other supes).
Maybe have a trait in the reward store that will not make your sim scared of werewolves in general or whatever. Like when they turn and such.

Maybe the brave trait is updated for this? But I doubt it since it is tied to the Paranormal pack... I wish they utilised the reward store more and added traits relevant to the new packs.

It's not just Greg that they're scared of. In my test save, my newly created werewolf was rampaging at the bar and all of the vampires cowered in fear, including my very high ranked vampire. You'd think the higher their rank, they less intimidated they'd be. It's basically made the werewolves the most feared occult and virtually untouchable. But I'm sure there is some lore in real life that would contradict that.

At least werewolves are the first occult (or sims) not scared of bears (bear suits) from Outdoor Retreat. I sent my couple on camping trip and since OR came out ages ago, I was half expecting them to be tense as well. But they were not. It would be so lame if they were.

But yeah, transformation and rampage causes all the sims to be scared or terrified. If they don’t have wolf ally trait (I think reading books from Moonwood Mill library granted it to my spellcaster, but I cannot be sure as I only saw it once) they will also be tense around sims in wolves forms. It’s about being beast and such… This trait will make them cool with werewolves unless they rampage.

Brave trait doesn’t delete the fear, it makes it last shorter period of time. I remember being disappointed by it as at that time I was playing spellcaster who was supposed to be seasoned ghost hunter and I wanted the trait to make him laugh at ghosts. Well, it didn’t…

I'm kinda torn, like I agree that maybe brave sims/occults shouldn't be scared but at the same time.... An out of control, rampaging werewolf should probably cause fear/hesitation to even the bravest of Vampire's.

There is a trait that makes sims less afraid of werewolves called Werewolf Ally.

To have a sim get it, a werewolf must perform werewolf diplomacy on them (dormant ability). To unlock werewolf diplomacy, you must have a werewolf successfully ask for a werewolf sympathy from a non-werewolf sim (which requires high relationship).

Another way to get the trait is by completing the Cure Seeker aspiration. Once completed, it comes alongside the usual reward trait.

    That kind of sucks.

I don't want my vampire (this specific one) to be friends with werewolves and if he has to have a werewolf ally trait not to act like a baby with werewolves it would imply he is on friendly terms with them :'(

I think someone on team Sims really dislikes vampires.

My supernaturals aren't scared of Greg, they can fight & defeat him.
As for intersupernatural families, I'm all for it. Hybrids are cool. :pB);)

Maybe it connects to vampire and werewolf rivalries?

At least that would make more sense than my ghost being scared of werewolves.... or scared at all, actually..... my ghost once saw someone die and got the fear of death and I was just like "but.... but you're already dead...."

(Come to think of it, there's several things about TS4 ghosts that are kinda weird, TBH. Like them aging.)

There's some kind of lore in the game about the Vampire/Werewolf rivalry. I don't play with either enough to have explored that part of the game, though.

My vampire and Spellcaster Sims were scared of Greg when they met him but have found Greg is quite easy to subdue with vampire hypnosis or a Chillio spell. Siren's Lure and Summon Ocean Threat also work on him (though how the kraken gets to the lake I have no idea. Teleportation? Maybe there's a mini one already living there. 😄).

What I was disappointed about was that all vampires and werewolves seem to automatically despise each other as soon as they meet. Even with the lore, it doesn't make sense to me that the entire population of vampires and werewolves in a world would all be on opposite sides. There surely would be one or two who were curious...

Getting my werewolf lady to be friends with anyone has been a bit of a challenge as she keeps accidentally scaring (or grossing out) her fellow islanders.

Right, back when Werewolfs came out, I took my vampire over to meet him.. She whacked him first try. True story. TBH, I generally avoid Moonwood Mill because the map is tiny and there's little to do. So besides right after it came out, I havent bothered with the place very much at all. And any interactions I've had in my games were back around when the pack came out. No recent excursions there.
Sorry, Avatar is merely my favorite Sims 4 sim.

I can understand normal sims getting frightened enough to pass out when a werewolf transforms around them, maybe even weaker vampires, but master and grandmaster vampires running away and passing out makes no sense to me. They are also creatures of the night and if anything if they hate each other should be more inclined to fight than pass out from fright.

Tbh it makes a lot of sense. It’s a popular notion that vampires and werewolves are poisonous to each other via their bites. It makes sense werewolves are the only thing they’re afraid of. I love it.

It doesn’t last tho. Once they’re friends, they’re friends just like normal sims. The fear goes away.

I have never seen a movie nor read a book where vampires ran from or passed out from fear just by being around a werewolf, Being wary of them or tense around them would make more sense to me.

I mean I too am not scared to death of the dead animals my cat brings me but I surely would not want to touch them or have my cat throw them on my lap while playing with em so I be running and shouting at my cat to take them elsewhere instead of bringing them to me

I imagine thats how vampires feel about werewolves n Greg hence the running about shouting

just something icky they don't want to come in contact with

n werewolves probably hate the vampire snobbery
