Hoping this isn't in the wrong section.

I'm using MOO to move the doors and windows in an apartment and I've noticed the grid that comes up when I click "move object" Is showing off axis to the natural Sims grid which is making it hard to guess where the window/door should be. Is there a way to fix this or a way around?

I hope somebody will understand my question. I will try to translate it in english as best as I can.

Slow dancing came with My Wedding Stories. But this dance overrides interactions between other Sims like the Sweetheart dance from High School Years.
When Sims are in one room and some teenagers are dancing the Sweetheart Dance from High School Years, and another pair is doing the Slow dance from my Wedding Stories, everyone stops the Sweetheart dance to watch the Slow Dance.

But I want everyone to keep dancing, no matter if they are slow dancing or if they are sweetheart dancing. I want to have more variety at my partys, not everyone dancing exactly the same.

So is there a way to remove the forced watching Slow Dance from My Wedding Stories?

Notice, I've never before made a mod myself, so please consider that I am a dummie in this area. If you explain something to me, then please do it dummie-proof. XD
I would be very thankful if someone who has knowledge in modding could help me out.

I don't often do mods - just once in the past.
I use a mac, I've downloaded the files (mainly package files) put them in the mods folder and made sure that they aren't in subfolders and they just don't show in game - everything is enabled as my previous mods still work. Now I wanted to make a recolor of one wall plaque (retail business) and created a stand alone object for my use. I set it to be available from catalog, and all is fine. Until I see it in game, and notice the original motif can still be seen as a 3D relief.

In Studio I see there are 3 meshes, Dropshadow 2/4, Phong 106/172 and PhongAlpha 18/36.
I understand I will need Blender to export/open those meshes, but after installing Blender and open those 3 files, I really don't see which one is creating the 3D relief, and how I can adjust it. I assume the effect can be turned off or the 3D mesh can be flattened, but I need some assistance in order to do this. I'm sure it's a quick task for anyone familiar with it, I'm just not seeing what I need to do

Here's a picture of the object I'm trying to fix (want to get rid of the shopping basket and stars that can still be seen as a 3D relief.

I'm hoping there is a way to keep the coffee/tea makers in my builds, but lower my sims desire to use them. As it stands if either of those items are on a lot sims will obsessively use them. I know I can turn them "off" using MCCC Tuner option, but I'm hoping there is a way to have my sims use them autonomously, just not all the time.

I know this has been an issue for years, so I'm doubtful there is an easy fix. Maybe I just need to learn how to create new items and make some from scratch.

In the Sims 3 you were able to physically move your sim with the moveobjects cheat, however in Sims 4 you cannot do this. I am trying to get my sims to pose with one another, and I understand you can teleport your sims but I can never seem to get them in the right position to do couples poses etc. Is there a mod that allows you to physically move sims and turn them etc? Without this I don't know how I'm going to write stories and take pictures with poseplayer.

Tutorial: Write The Sims 4 Script Mod with Python - Introduction



What is this tutorial for?
The Sims4 script mod is a type of mod that allows creators to access and modify the game data by python script directly. For example, in the EA official cheat instruction, we can type motherlode to get 50,000 simoleons from the cheat console. A script mod could achieve this with the following process: find what is the simoleons for the current sim, add 50,000, then update it.

One of the popular script mods for The Sims4 is MC Command Center, with this module, you could expand the functionality and story progression within the game.

What you can learn from this tutorial?
I am a The Sims player, and also a software engineer. After using the MC Command Center for years, I would like to start writing some script mods myself. However, MCCC is not an open-source project, gladly, I am able to find some Sims4 mod projects on Github. This tutorial is a simplifier version of the existing projects, a beginner guide, that helps new creators to catch up quickly and start writing their own mods.

Prerequisites
This tutorial requires fundamental programming knowledge. If you do not have enough background, recommend taking a quick look at some Python introduction courses. Example: https://www.programiz.com/python-pr...g/first-program
- Install Python 3.7: https://www.python.org/downloads/release/python-370/ . Recommend version 3.7 or 3.8. Because the decompile tool we are using is only supported up to 3.8. Therefore, other versions of Python might cause an unforeseeable issue. If you are using PC, might need to update some environment variables, see: https://datatofish.com/add-python-to-windows-path/
- Install Uncompyle6: https://pypi.org/project/uncompyle6/. You can run ‘pip install uncompyle6’ after Python is installed. This is the decompiler to decompile the Sims4 game source code.

So I've never really used mods or CC before but my sim needs some new boxers. I've downloaded some from a well known CC site. Opened the file and put them in the mods folder as directed. There is a resource.cfg file in there also (I don't know if thats important or not).

When I go into the game I get the warning about CC installed and make sure that's allowed. When I then try to put the CC on my sim it just shows up as in the pic below? Where am I going wrong????
