Infants to Toddlers

So I just now aged up my first infant in the game. It took a long time to achieve milestones and even then I didn't get to crawling (it was time to move on). One thing that surprised me is my toddler was walking right away. Shouldn't they have been crawling since they didn't achieve that milestone as an infant?

Feathers

I adopted a dog, and the dog automatically searches bushes and will find feathers and surprise gifts. The dog had found 12 feathers really fast just by playing in the bush up against the house on her on. There were two feathers she never got though, so I read up on it, and decided to get a cat, and head to Brindleton Bay. The only option when I click on birds are to chase, or scare. I am not seeing the option to command at all. My sim spent 8 hours at the park, continuously clicking on the cat to send out to prowl. The cat would leave, but just wonder around. The cat never attempted to prowl, and not once brought anything back. I am not understanding what I am doing wrong. My sim is maxed out in pet training. Do I have to have be better than friends with the cat? She is a new adoption, and only at friend level at this time. Any help is appreciated as I am stressed over all the time I have gone back and forth to the park trying to figure out how to get feathers with the cat. I forgot to mention that one of the cats traits is prowler.

I couldn't decide what to do with some of my nonsense but with it being mostly tied to growing together here we are, so I got the call that he knew Eleanor and he ended up close to Xochitl(I had to look it up but this is pronounced sow-cheel, yes it was bugging me I couldn't say it.). Anyways, she started off getting a science baby from Christopher which started their affair and now as a single father he was too distant for her. So she says anyhow, hadn't heard from Kyle in a while but invited him over because being swamped with infants with Eleanor who can be a handful herself she just was lonely.

Tell me why he moved in papa-mode ready, I just love him now.

First off, before(science) Ryan was saved by Kyle...I blame Eleanor for my baby being outside several blocks from home.

Okay I made Xochitl go get him but as soon as he was down, bug of everyone wanting the baby aside Kyle took right over, after taking care of both babies he was already adoring the other kids in the house and I had him go ahead and adopt them all the caregiver option so he just feels protective around them a lot.

Even Eleanor's daughter she adopted seemed to benefit from him kid really follows him around she wants to talk or steal the babies from him whatever he's her new best friend almost like it's the first time she had a dad figure. Went right in on her first day to snag good grades and a prom date, lol. Anyways while she was bonding with Eleanor "shopping" for her prom dress it was back home where he could chase after all the younger kids in the house.

Fast forward a bit he, hawt right?, is just adoring the most precious thing he's ever seen.

Baby Tatum, fresh up from a nap with a horrible blowout situation he will fight for this child.

something about him just being perfectly content with his new family even when all his needs are slowly tanking because the babies can and will take over your life.

I just realized she has glasses in her swimwear for no reason she let him nap that is I cancelled him getting up to get the baby and she tended to him till five am to make sure Kyle was well taken care of and proudly said 'Your turn'.

Fun times.

My Wedding Stories - Why No Timer on Wedding Events?

I have wondered why there is no countdown on wedding events like there are on birthday parties and house parties etc? The wedding events just end abruptly without warning and don't give me enough time to complete some of the tasks.

About changing traits through self discovery

With the new growing together pack sims can swap out a trait and gain additional ones. I have a few questions about that.

1. We only get 3 self discovery moments. If I decline a new trait, will that count towards one of those three moments. I was offered the unflirty trait for the first self discovery for one of my sims and said no. Does that mean this sim will only have two self discovery moments left?
2. What happens when I take a sim with changed traits into CAS. Can I change a 4th or 5th trait they gained in CAS. Can traits that are swapped out be altered in CAS. Obviously the full edit in CAS cheat needs to be active for this one.
3. Is there a way to trigger a self discovery moment. One of my sims married a townie with the mean trait and I would like to replace that one through gameplay.

Are you able to take pictures of adults holding infants using the tripod from Mochino? I find it difficult to get a good angle of infants crawling with the camera. It's like they are too close and the infants are too low.

I know we could already adopt as care dependent but this pack is suppose to have a new feature that allows you to adopt a child and get a birth certificate. I want to put the baby up for adoption (which I know we can’t do) so if I add a non family member in the home, can they adopt the baby? Do they have to have a relationship with parent or baby in order for this to happen?

Do family dynamics from Growing Together change without going into CAS/cheats?

I have a parent sim who has a strict family dynamic with their child and was wondering if it were possible to have it change through gameplay. I know I can cheat it in CAS, but was curious if it could potentially change to the jokesters dynamic if I have the parent sim joke with their kid a lot.

Does anyone know if it’s possible, or do family dynamics only change when it’s initially blank?

I don't know if anyone else has noticed this or had a problem with it, but ever since I got Growing Together my sims friends are always asking to move in with me. Some of them are parts of big families too, and I just can't fit them all in my house 😅😅 It was a cute addition at first but now everyone is ALWAYS asking to move in. It's getting old.

Preferably ONLY rate this pack if you actually own and have played it for a bit. Also: feel free to voice your opinions, but don't go attacking others for theirs. is the video game streaming career working for anyone?

I reported a bug back when high school years came out. When my sims works from home in the video game streamer career, she only earns $10 pay.

She completes all of her work from home tasks and works for the full 2 hours. She is supposed to earn $61 an hour ( so over $120 total pay ). Yet the poor girl only gets $10.

If she goes into work, she gets paid the full amount. What fun though is going into work. The fun part about video game streamer career is setting up a cool room and watching them stream their games.

Is anyone else having this issue? When I posted it on the EA help forums several months ago, they acted like they never heard of the bug. Nothing ever came of it. So I am just wondering if it is just my game. I don't use any mods except UI cheats ( yes it is updated ) and the bug happens with no mod installed as well.

I know it's a pack everyone wanted for a long, long while. I still haven't bought it, however, cause I don't know if it's worth it. I'm kind of intrigued by the robots and having roommates.
The only expansion packs that I don't have are Discover University and Cats & Dogs.
Also, someone tell me, what interactions can you have with the robots? Simbots and Plumbots were one of the best things about Sims 3, hands down.

Where are the new walking trails? [Growing Together]

I was playing in the Michaelsons household last night, created parents for Celeste, moved them in and figured it might be nice to have them do the new walking activity thing. But I couldn't locate where they were.

How do you find the walking trails? Is there a sign like for when you go fishing and there's a little fishing sign but it says walking or...? I must be missing something because I couldn't locate it if there is one in their part of the neighborhood.
