It did an update in the game when it loaded first of all, then I clicked on the game to play it when the update was done (and yes, I restarted my phone so it was fully installed and fully updated), but it crashed every single time. It came up with a box on the screen asking if I wanna send feedback etc. So I uninstalled it, installed it again... same thing happened. I had a Google, someone had the same issue, another someone offered the advice to clear cashes and whatnot, which I've done, tried loading the game again, of course it didn't work. I restarted my phone again but it still didn't load, so I've uninstalled it again and turned to this forum for help instead.

I have enough storage, memory, whatever else I need on my phone for it to work, but it won't work and I don't understand. When I played it before, it just loaded and I played it for months without a single (major) issue. If anyone could help with the very little info I'm able to supply you with (because this is all I'm able to supply you with), that would be great. Even if I did get an iPhone, I wouldn't play The Sims FreePlay due to mandatory aging despite being optional in other games. Since the Life Dreams update, people disliked the aging feature and either stopped playing it or played an older version of the game. Another option is not do the quest but you'll not be able to access the future content in later updates.

FreePlay is differnet from other games such as Proposing charging the player whereas it's free in other games, Pools aren't unlocked at start and are very expensive (3x3 pool is §30,000 in FreePlay, I think vs §720 in The Sims 3 for the same sized pool), the game asks when canceling an action, Schools must be built, Child and Elder in TS3/TS4 are renamed Preteen and Senior, respectively in FreePlay and so on.

Edit: It seems that The Sims FreePlay dropped support for iOS devices running iOS 4, now you need at least iOS 5 to run FreePlay. Previous requirement was iOS 4.3 (originally 3.0).

Also one thing I forgot to note was that The Sims FreePlay requires an Internet connection and it's the only Sims game to require it. The Sims 4 doesn't require Internet to play although an Internet connection is required to start The Sims 4 in order to sign in to Origin. If you are not connected to the Internet and Origin isn't running, The Sims 4 will not start as the sign in will fail. If you are disconnected from the Internet after signing in to Origin, The Sims 4 will start.

Based on the replies, looks like FreePlay is part of the Broken Base. It seems to be one of the few Sims game I dislike mostly because of the aging and hard and time consuming it is. Anyway, my sim sister's daughter Nicole just aged into a toddler. I Put in a toddler bed in the place of her crib, and another bed for their teenage son Lucas who stays with them.

Meanwhile, for my preteen Chara and a portion of her family, i am building my second apartment.

A bit of Chara's backstory (because her life is quite sad and interesting), my simself's childhood friend (not a real person) Ruby and my simself's husband Tony (also not real lol)'s sister Kathy got married and had Chara. (interesting fact, i have had 4 couples in my game who are same gender.) When she was a toddler they divorced, and got remarried soon after she aged up. Kathy had an affair with a guy named Connor, Ruby found out, they divorced, and Kathy and Connor got married and had twins named Daniel and Julie. Ruby soon met a girl named Anastasia. The two live together as a couple with Chara and her adopted brother Nathan (adopted when Kathy and Ruby were still together) but Anastasia doesn't like Chara, and favors Nathan more. Anastasia also dated 3 other sims (While dating Ruby) so yeah, who knows what will happen with her around.

I have this on my ipad because I downloaded it out of sheer curiosity awhile back. I thought it was so ugly and obviously, so much of the game pushes you to purchase.. But I cracked it open again this morning out of boredom and I'm wondering again why the graphics are so, so so soso bad.

... I think I would actually play and probably even spend money if the graphics weren't total crap.

Do you guys like them? I mean, I play some pretty (beautiful) graphic intensive games on my ipad and it runs perfectly, so I can't imagine just the fact that it needs to be of lowe quality in order to run on mobile devices is the reason why..

Well since I am only in my first few hours playing this game it appears as though I will reserve judgement until I’ve played this more extensively. But I feel this is just Sims 4 Lite and not much to write home about.
