Can't repair during rain

This is a really weird bug that I've gotten. When it rains and my fridge is broken I can't repair it. The bar fills and than my sim will sit there for hours with the bar full and not ending the repair option. I have to cancel the action and wait for the rain to stop and than they can repair it.
Also everytime it rains the fridge seems to to be broken. It is the Crisponix budget Dee-lux (used) but it broke twice in one day. In the morning during the first rain. repaired when the rain stopped. Broke again once the rain started again in the afternoon.

i don't know if this is a bug, but also when it's raining my ghost sims that are at a club meeting to garden will run in and outside not actually gardening. I wasn't sure if this was because they're getting wet and freaking out and just not wanting to garden, or if its a bug that they do nothing but run in and outside for hours while it rains.

If you have cc/mods in your game, move your whole mods folder to the desktop. Then start the game and test to see if the issues are still there when it starts to rain.

Repairing the game may also help. To do that, go to games library in Origin, right click on the sims 4 picture and click repair

I have one mod. MCC, but I have mods disabled right now, would that still be affecting things?

I'll try the repair first and see if that works. as long as it doesn't suddenly stop raining. xD

There is a new version of MCCC mod that has been released today. Try removing the old version, test the issue in your game, then download/install the new version of the mod.

I didn't remove MCC from the folder, but I did repair the game. (I had already sold the broken fridge and bought a cooler cause my sims needed food.)
After repairing the game, the fridge has yet to break in the rain and I have been spamming commands on it, so i think repairing the game fixed it. Also thanks for the info I'll have to update the mod. I haven't used it in over a month ^^;;

I was also able to repair a sink, though I don't know if that was broken before. So i'm thinking that repairing the game fixed the issue. Thanks Rosemow.

Okay finally decided to drag it outside into the rain so that it would break because electronics and rain don't mix. voila, it's broken. Dragged it back inside, and it repaired!!! So bug fixed. thank you again !
