@RipuAncestor IKR? It's quite a new system and I only know DnD 5e and Pathfinder 2e, but it looks pretty good so far! Totally different from what I know though so we'll see how it goes XuX

@SnowBnuuy I hope it goes well! I love tabletop rpgs (and Fallout)! I've played a lot of DnD 5e and I've also tried World of Darkness, but nothing else so far.
My Sims stories: The Fey of Life - fairytales in life are few and far between (Forum thread HERE) The Chrysanthemum Tango - a story about life, death, magic, and how to be a good landlady (Forum thread HERE) Forget-Me-Not - some things just refuse to stay buried; an Ambrosia Challenge story (Forum thread HERE)
@RipuAncestor The Fallout 2d20 system is actually not too difficult to get used to, and for the most part only uses d20s and d6s. The biggest thing to get used to though, is that the lower the number on the dice, the better. So 1 is a great outcome and 20 is actually a bad one : P

@SnowBnuuy Oh, well as long as you remember that, it doesn't sound too bad. . I remember that in WoD we had to mostly roll a whole bunch of d10s.

I've put the picture in the Spoiler tags so that I don't clog the thread!
I'm having to lower the ages and makeover some of the RoM premade sims for an upcoming challenge since it's a prequel thing.
Left to right: L.Faba, Simeon Silversweater, Aine (I haven't changed her age, just her hair), Grace Anansi. I imagine L.Faba wearing absolutely nothing but pastel pink in her youth for some reason XD

Is 5e good? I hated 4th and that put me off DnD for a while. I still have 1st and 2nd in a bookshelf, somewhere in my house and 3rd was fun to play.
@Kellogg_J_Kellogg 5e is good, dead simple compared to the older editions. It’s the first system I learned; It’s a good one to get into if you want something simple to both play and DM.
@Kellogg_J_Kellogg Yeah, I agree with SnowBnuuy, 5e is good and fairly simple. It's very accessible for newbies - like I was when I picked it up. I feel like the fairly straightforward rules and such make it very easy to focus on the roleplaying aspect, which I love the most.

Speaking of new stories...I just caught myself saying to someone "if and when I ever write Sim 76, 86 or 96...." and had to stop myself from committing to it. The CC and the time it would take up.....no, not now.
It's chapter 100 of Sim 66 today...this once little project, to see if I could write Sim Lit based off a game idea, has reached a century. Thanks for everyone who reads it and gives a thumbs up or a comment and a big thank you to those creative Simmers who have made some fantastic lots for my game; the Orange Peel Club, Sneedley Burrow and, making its full debut this chapter, Pack's Clothing. There's plans for another Sixties themed venue at the moment which is being designed.
I had DSO meeting this morning and if I'm lucky and get money *before* the end of June- I could get a new computer and play a lot more games. And we're going to get a call from I think an "Adult Social Worker" on Thursday
the tree trimmers are here again, later today iplan to write more about elliot he got shortchanged cause my brother called mom yesterday to say he was getting something done to his house and needed her. its some kindof incentive program but i forget what. but mom is on the title so need to be there which meant the only thing i remembered about my last post were the names. lol. i had whole story in my head but mom rang my bell right after i started the post. so what was in my head flew out.
