Now that I've started getting some of the worlds and venues, and thinking of what to do with them. Which worlds I'll put which venues in and etc.
I thought, hey, what does everyone else do? So I pose this to you --
What do you do with your venues from the Store? Which worlds do you edit them into? What are your favorite world/venue combinations? (And if you have the standard version of a world, do you add the venue that matches it? i.e. do you put the Serenity Retreat into Sunlit Tides or do you do your own thing?)
[For the purpose of this thread, I'm meaning ONLY store worlds and venues, NOT items from the Exchange and elsewhere, please.]
For myself, I'm really not sure what I'd do yet. Or have any ideas, except that I think Grandpa's Grove would do well in Appaloosa Plains.

I also use the Business As Usual Bistro content in just about every neighborhood. I place the bistro itself in most of my "modern" hoods and if I don't think the bistro fits in with the theme of the neighborhood I'll redo an existing building and turn it into a bistro by adding the oven and the menus. I made a restaurant in the back of the Amore venue and set it to serve gourmet food. I also like combining the bistro set with Monte Vista's pizzeria and setting it to serve spaghetti, pizza, garlic bread, etc.
Oh, and I love the casino! I love everything about Lucky Palms, actually. I like putting the Serenity Retreat in Lucky Palms and just changing some of the plants so that it fits in better.
See this comment and the one after.
To the OP: I only have 2 venues: the Greenhouse and the Skylight Studio. I put the Greenhouse in almost every world I play. I added the snack/coffee bar from University and usually set the lot to be a java hut. I send my sims there to harvest free food if they are really poor or struggling. I removed all the sunflower/stereo objects because inactives get glued to dancing to those. I thought it might be a nice venue to send sims to play instruments for tips. But even with the sunflower things gone my sims don't attract much attention. I probably need to use a different lot assignment.
I don't use the Skylight Studio much. I usually don't have the room and the existing gym is usually good enough. I do use those objects though.
I have a bunch of simpoints to spend and was thinking about getting some worlds, probably the gold versions with the venues. I expect that I'd put in a venue based on the sims and story or challenge I was playing for that game. And then edit it to fit the world if necessary. On the other hand, I use NRaas Traveler so I could set up Store worlds to be vacation destinations. Pairing worlds with venues isn't a bad idea for that.
However, in all honesty, I'll probably just place as many as I can in my vacation version of Bridgeport. Bridgeport at least has something few other worlds have: unique places to visit and things to do (i.e. the clubs). Some day I'll get Isla Paradiso set up to be a vacation world and will probably cram in as many Store venues as I can...well, that make sense anyways.

Ah, that explains it, thanks.
Another best as far as a bar dance club nothing beats the EA Late Night preorder bounus venue. It is so perfect and the best ever of all venues. The interior is done so awesome has dual pro bars and a VIP rope with bouncer. The whole place is off the hook.
Here it is in my Lucky Palms as is.Nothing changed this is default is so freaking cool.Notice it is located next to the hospital. In case of "Juice poisoning" Errrybody in da club getting tipsy.....errybody in da club getting tipsy
The only venue I generally place is the Greenhouse and I place it in every world I play. I have since added a few customisations to the greenhouse venue such as adding humble harvest stands and spring riders and lemonade stand.
Over the past few months I've made some customisations to the Al Fresco Market venue and occasionally place it in whatever world I'm playing. I also placed the Arts Studio in my current game in Sunlit Tides after adding some extra objects to it so my Sims can go there to sculpt and invent.
The other Store Venues I may place occasionally. There are some I've never placed in any world but continue to use the objects in other places.

Greenhouse windows and roof elements become the garden/sauna wing of my Victorian mansion.
Skylight Studio roof and wall pieces become architectural elements in my contemporary art gallery.
Pavilions from the Duke of Bows Renaissance Festival become fancy marquees for garden parties.
And so on - mostly, I cannibalize and up-cycle to enhance my own builds.
