Illness Cheat?

Does anyone know if there is a cheat to make your sim sick? I kinda wish they popped up a little more in my game. Or perhaps someone knows a workaround....something that a particular sim does that can cause them to get sick?

I was wondering about what causes illness too. But it's really annoying, because my Sims will go their whole life without being sick, and then suddenly they're ALWAYS sick - it cures for a couple hours, then it comes back! I was hoping maybe there was a "Scrub whole house to get rid of all these plum germs" interaction....alas, there is not.

This uses the sims.add_buff <buff> cheat. As such, it requires testingcheats true.

If you do not want to wait for your Sims to show symptoms the “natural” way, you can use the following cheats to force symptoms on a Sim. Please note that symptoms do not stack, therefore Sims can only experience one symptom at a time with cheats.

I find kids tend to bring illness home from school and doctors bring it home from work. Being in contact with these sims spreads it. Some of my sims are constantly ill and others seem to be immune to most things. I guess that's sort of like life though, with everyone having varying constitution.

I don't like the illness system in this game. The one medicine for all sicknesses is really bad. Not being able to go to the hospital is another disadvantage

Is there a cheat for that?? I dont think there is to be honest. Unless i just dont know about it..

I have tried using this cheat many times, but I've noticed it does not seem to be contagious. Anyone else experience anything like this? Or is it just how to game works?
