This is a large Craftsman home I started before the Growing Together pack so I have changed the windows, doors, columns and exterior wall cover. I think it will have 7 bedrooms so I will be doing this a while and possibly do it on and off between other creations. It originally had brown wood from Pets pack but I think the white looks nice, I have not decided on the roof tiles yet by the way.
Hello all 👋 So many talented players here over the years. Thought I would go ahead and share my current WIP. I've been working on building a new lot for Vlad. The shape needs more work for a better layout but so far I like the front of the build. 😊🦇
I'm done with the exterior, and the interior only has minimal decoration (walls, flooring) - as if the house was vacated and on the market. I call it Little Riverside Manor (the 20X20 lot in WIndenburg). But I need a name, does anyone has any suggestions?
Your new build looks lovely! @grallonsphere The greenery is very nice on the walls.
I am sorry but I am not good at suggesting names for builds! I hope someone else may be able to help you with a suggestion.
I started on a new project. Once again the exterior is complete.
Here is 'La Coquine' (The Little Scamp), a micro chateau in the hills of Windenburg, built in the XIXth century by an aging French noble for his young mistress...
Today I have been doing this Tiny Home its 64 Tiles and has to stay Tiny for a Deligracy members shell challenge.
I have not done any rooms inside yet as I wasnt sure what I was going to do with the shell until I started the outside wall cover and stairs. There is a door at the back and ladder up to top floor. I will be adding more flowers and harvest plants later.
Whimsical Cottage is so very pretty! @luckyheather The exterior design and roofing are lovely! Very nice waterwheel pond and the stairs to the upper level are great! Very pretty flowerbox windows.
Thank you very much @rosemow for taking a look at the WIP of the cottage, its from an awkward shaped shell by Deligracy and there are lots of entries so I had to try to do something different. I made the stairs a real feature so I am pleased you like the way its looking so far Trouble is it makes the back door the front door! Maybe I should give it the trait that makes it more private, I dont know Lol. Im glad you like it though, thanks.
This is what I have started today, its a sort of large Treehouse in Sulani. I had no plan I just made walkways and rooms so I do not know how many will be bedrooms yet or bathrooms. At the front the Swimming pools will have some rocks and plants around them eventually plus loungers no doubt. I was going to do it woods different colours but changed my mind after building it.
Front
I have done a lot to my Sulani Treehouse today, so here is how its looking now. Nearly all rooms are furnished and need the clutter added to quite a few of them to finish them and the garden needs more plants and rocks. The Hut at the back on the ground is for Diving Gear and its a bathroom with shower.
Your Sulani Treehouse build is looking very lovely! @luckyheather The exterior design and layout is very great! The gardening nook and the design of the pool, splashpads and gym areas are very nice.
Thank you very much @rosemow I am pleased that you think the layout looks great and the splash pads are a nice addition as I thought it would be fun for them after School or work when they come home The house still looks a bit bland to me so I will try hanging plants here and there and I might use a more colourful Sulani fence, so im off now to carry on with it. Thanks for your kind comments.
Your mansion WIP is looking very great! @neutralside The back patio area is lovely! Very great layout. Very pretty flowers, restful bamboo plants and very nice pond. The pool, outdoors dining, hot tub and bar areas are very nice. The multicoloured bar stools look great!
I challenged myself to build something that I haven't done over and over again in the past.
So I gave myself the following rules:
Build a house
which is not medieval or Georgian, Victorian, Edwardian, etc. style
which is not rectangular
which doesn't have a gable roof
which is not grey, white or light brown on the outside
which is floating above the ground
which offends every houseowner association (quoting the SimGuru's recent tweet).
You can see the result below. I have to admit that I really like the outcome. Because of the shape and colors I called it "The Lego House". It's CC free, it's full playable and it has all the attributes mentioned above - except that it doesn't float. But I'm also working on this one
It's a part of my Willow Creek rebuild, where I also try to not use standard building techniques and standard colors. That's a pretty exiting task.
I hope you like it. Thanks for viewing.
Bonxie: Great Skua, stercorarius skua. Meet me on Fair Isle.
The Lego House is so very creatively great! @Bonxie The exterior architectural design and roofing is so very creative! The colourful colours are very lovely! It looks so special!

I've been working on this mansion on and off for the last six months. So far only the back patio area is (mostly) complete.
