rumbutter - it looks like you are well on your way to making a stunning roller coaster. The thing is to keep going and be prepared to use the sledge hammer and redo things until it all fits. I found that trying to force it to work when it wasn't quite right was a waste of time. So out came the sledge hammer and I made a small part of the track go in a different direction and suddenly I had a valid track. I have no idea what was wrong originally.
I am looking forward to seeing the pictures you post of the final thing.
I'm tempted to try to do another one now - but I have other things I need to do as well.
WOW i love all these rollercoasters, not had a chance to try to make anything yet, but i deffo will be downloading and rec'ing the ones on here, well done
Bookmarked this Poffpoff2's is an absolutely amazing lot!
GoddessHekate your lot looks lovely. You have chosen a smaller lot and that makes it harder to add a lot of different items to get the effect of chaos which you can get with a larger lot that gives you more freedom to scatter things around.
Thank you, Karr. As I was was doing the coaster over and over again I thought perhaps I should reconsider 50x50 but then I just became even more determined to do it. lol. Also, I'm so glad you uploaded your creation! It's wonderful. I rec'd it of course.
This is not a new build, but I have added some of the 'effect' floor lights in confetti, heart bubbles, flashy sparkles etc. and underwater plant life to the tanks
My tanks are empty. I used underwater items as well but I wish I'd thought to place them in the tanks! That's such a great idea!
Why be bashful? That looks fab! I have downloaded and recd this one as it is just the sort of thing I was looking for to place in IP.
Everyone has done really great with their builds. I haven't had a go at doing my own yet, but I'm sure it wouldn't be anywhere near as awesome as the ones shown here.
Oh, I'm sure you could create something fabulous! And thank you so much for saying that. That makes me very, very happy. I've been obsessed with creating water themed things lately so making a Water Park was the first thing that came to mind. I also didn't have Roaring Heights at the time so I wasn't sure how interested anyone would be in something not related to the new world. And then I found this thread!
I rec'd all the exchange items that were posted here and am looking forward to seeing more!
And rumbutter, your project looks amazing! I can't wait to see the finished product!
Seadramon, I followed your links but they weren't working and even more odd, your Page says that you haven't uploaded anything to your studio yet. Will try again later! [edit] ah, now it's working, nice job!
i also found out i can use other colums to support the roller coaster like the one from the market or was it monte vista ? the tree with lights
whoa, YAY, that is so fabulous to know thank you so much for that idea Rumbutter. The thing which put me over the edge about Midnight Hallow was this awesome Hansel and Gretel lot by Ruthless_kk, which for some reason I can't get to show the image but here's the link:
stickykisses - thank you for posting that link to the Hansel and Gretel lot. I love it.
We have so many beautiful things to work with in this game now. I've been imagining all sorts of scenarios for other roller coasters.
GoddessHekate - I was a bit dubious about posting any pictures of my roller coaster here at first as I also thought people would only want to see things for Roaring Heights. But I decided to just do it. The worst that could happen would be the thread could have been ignored. I'm so happy now that it has become a place for people to show off their creations. :-D And somewhere others can browse easily.
You all look like you've had such fun building those, I couldn't resist an attempt any longer. This is Summer Hill Funfair in Sunset Valley:
I had tons of fun building it, as I love funfairs IRL. I tested it out with the Bachelor family - I forgot the fact that I'd left a gap in the fence and everyone got in for free instead of buying their tickets
All those fun things to do, and guess what Bella and Michael opted for when left to their own devices?

Downloading and recommending it! Just what I am looking for and with the appropriate loops in the rollercoaster! Yay! Now I don't have to build it. Whew!
Thank you very much for sharing!
Aww...thought you shared. Sorry.
Everyone has done a beautiful job and would love to have them in my world but I wanted my rollercoaster on a festival lot. Guess I need to get started learning how to build one of those things. Being lazy.
Nothing to see. I don't even care about the forums.
It's so great to see roller coasters and amusement parks everyone else has built Of course seeing them makes me think of things I could've done differently with my own... But then, that probably won't be the only roller coaster I end up building, so I'll just have to remember all the ideas I get from this thread

That is the link for the final tested and complete version, no gaps in fences It has lots of store content in it, but no TP CC. I did use the UIC to change the pics on it, but for some reason it didn't take so it is left with the standard EA images.
And thank you for such wonderful comments, blewis.

I felt the same way about my water park (created during winter of all seasons) so I wasn't sure if anyone would want to download it. I'm glad you decided to share yours because it truly is wonderful and fits the theme brilliantly.

Yay!!! Downloading it for sure! Happy Dancing! You are very welcome!

I tried to keep it smallish -- it fits on a 40x40 lot -- so hopefully it will be easier to place in your world. Park includes games, bull riding, face painting, spring riders, roller skating rink and, of course, a rollercoaster.

Good idea about updating Summer Hill with this lot.

So does the Boardwalk you created

Goth is very appealing to me yet it's a bit too dreary, so guess I'm more of a sour candy and black rainbow kind of person.
Thank you for doing that with the pictures kate.
seadramon I love the natural look of the trees and the natural timber colour of the roller coaster. They are both very beautiful lots.
