It's winter in my game and an Ice Skating rink has spawned next to the pier. That's great.
That looks nice.
I have dream. Later on a stable patch I could see myself modding the game and turning the High School lot into a military Boot Camp. The pier would be a great place with a little bar on the side. Maybe a few werewolves in there somewhere as well.
After an afternoon and evening playing High School Years. It’s okay, some of it is good. Here’s what I liked about it. I played with Cassandra Goth. What I didn’t like I’ll post in the negative thread.
I liked the way the school can be edited. It’s very easy to adjust things. Multiple couches make having a nap a breeze! 😴
I liked the bell and students heading to class.
I don’t know what Cassandra did but she’s getting good reports! 🤔🤷🏼♂️
I loved the way we can decorate lockers.
The same teens turn up with her but I didn’t choose them.
Thought it was neat that you can change your classrooms when you want. Had my sims attend art class in an appropriate room. Cool they just sit on the floor (or any available seat if they don't stand) while attending class.

Haven't started playing yet. After the last two patch updates, I decided to start a new save and move every build and Sim from my existing save to the brand new save. This new save will be my master save.
Even when you do save as, the bug isn't gone unless you start a new save which can be frustrating when you have all your builds and Sims in place. Nonetheless, I've put this off for years. High School Years gave me the added nudge to get this done. Right now I've made it to Brindleton Bay and I have nine more worlds to go. Doing a little bit every day helps.
Once this is finished, I can start having fun with my teens and the new pack.

I know that feeling well! The amount of times I've made a new master save doing this... also, playing some great music while you do it helps. Good luck with getting it finished soon 😁

I guess that Sim thought her cheerleading uniform could double as a skating costume...

Yevsas mairzeemo!
I've updated to the latest patch, played for a while, and so far not noticing any aging problems.
This is Amelia who just aged up to teen and will be starting high school.
Oh that's awesome, thanks for sharing
I was genuinely shocked at the lack of high school/school spirit wall decor in the pack. This is exactly what I wanted to have in game.
TS3 vibes
Good luck to Amelia! 🎉
I actually like how the classes are done.
I will be renovating the big dining room! I was thinking maybe a coffee shop vibe.
The Urban Myth death is one of my favourites in TS4.

Good to know. I’ve been skipping playing active the day after I complete a project just in case.
