Calling Silvakristiina - Jammin' July Gift Exchange Gifts

«1
Hello, everyone!

So, I feel like I'm really late to the party, but I'm ready to start sharing! Hooray!

It's hard to believe, but I was told you, @Silvakristiina, were my buddy approximately 5 weeks ago. Time has absolutely flown! I've never done an exchange before and had no idea what I was doing. I've never even built any kind of really nice building. Like, I build a box or rectangle, use auto roof ( ), and make it huge for all the sims I'm going to put in the family and items I'll need, whether a house or what-not. It's just for me, right? So I never cared or needed to learn much more than the necessities.

When I began writing my stories, I downloaded houses from the Exchange or elsewhere. Again, this was mostly due to my time constraint and laziness.

I didn't know what I was getting myself into when I signed up for this. If I had to do it all over again, though, I'd not do anything else except this. I think I began much later than I should have. Lesson learned.

It was pretty easy to come up with items for you. You had TWO wishlists! I loved that! Lots of ideas wiggled, giggled and finally came out of my brain.

Anyway, enough chatter from me. I know you've been having issues with your game. I really, really hope you can fix it because I have such a pile of gifts for you. I want you to be able to enjoy every last item.

The first idea will be last and the last idea shall go first. >:) Let's Begin...

He's definitely on his way to being a competitive horse. Or perhaps just to hang out around the yard. :D

Stay tuned as I have more that I'll be sharing in the next day or two!

I decided I should make a mate for Grey Musket. She had to compliment him yet have her own statement as well.

    Introducing Starry Night: Exchange Link

She's one I spent a lot of time on placing the stars, moving them just so, adding the few patches, finding the right color of the coat...it took awhile. However, she's such a beautiful creature and I'm sure you'll enjoy every minute with her! <3

Now, I can't just have a handsome male horse and a stunning female horse without trying for a foal. It seems impossible to just ignore that instinct. So...

    Introducing Patchwork Galaxy: Exchange Link

She is a beautiful mix of both her mother and father.

Here's a few more pictures of her playing around the yard.

Rolling around in the dirt (does wonders for complexion, I've heard)

    Romping with the butterflies

And lastly making noises with her father while her mother rolls her eyes. ;)

Who has horses without some kind of place for them to hang out? Not you!

    Introducing Stormy Stables: Exchange Link

    Lot Type: Horse Ranch
    Lot Size: 40x40
    Price: 77,147
Original Address: 27 Paradise Cir, Sunlit Tides

    19713265440_d734a01452_b.jpg

This specially created building came straight from my brain to your game. Training your horse for competitions is very important. Yeah, you could do it on your household lot, but what if you don't have room? Now, you can slap this down next door (or down the road) and walk down any time to train.

There are stables on the backside of the barn for four horses.

    19278634964_72df4a72d2_b.jpg

Plenty of space to train for racing and jumping.

    19714602089_8f5d8d068e_b.jpg

    19875051886_ce997c69fe_b.jpg

Lots of hay for the horses along with mucking tools.

    19713254220_e247620e00_b.jpg

A tack room with all your horsing needs.

    19280295123_af1e7394fe_b.jpg

The bathroom is on the right in this photo. Who wants to see a yucky bathroom, though? ;) (It's an all-in-one.)

    19714559339_2bfd717d7c_b.jpg

If you want to keep track of competitions and who needs to be trained what, you'll need an office.

    19713212048_370f0139fe_b.jpg

    Or two...

    19278593364_c89a719499_b.jpg

If you have to stay over night for whatever reason, here are some bedrooms to accommodate that. They are a bit bare, but cowboys don't need a lot of knick-knacks. ;)

    19278601034_a0fe5a5456_b.jpg
    19713217068_dea293161b_b.jpg

    19713232328_b64f764809_b.jpg
    19906307721_e374d71256_b.jpg

What if you get a hankerin' for some food while you're working so hard out on the grounds? A kitchen sure would satisfy that craving. Sadly, commercial lots can't have a stove, but since you have the teppanyaki grill and the woodfire oven, you can easily cook food with those. You also have the normal ice cream, cereal, yogurt, etc from the refrigerator. The whole passe can join you for a home cooked meal to re-energize themselves.

    19875035776_e9105a071d_b.jpg

    19280329343_165d205333_b.jpg

    19278620834_5c44c4b8f0_b.jpg

    19875043516_893ab87ee4_b.jpg

So, after all of that, I really hope you'll enjoy these stables in your game. I enjoyed putting it all together!

    @Silvakristiina

This is your last wonderful gift! <3

This gift took me the longest, but I loved every minute of it. You had mentioned in one of your lists that you wanted Mediterranean lots. I did some research and finally found a house I liked.

    Original Blueprints

Now, I’m not a builder at all. I either take other houses or buildings I like and thank the creators for their hard work OR I just plop a box down, add a basement and perhaps another story, then use auto roof ( ). It was never for anything except me and it didn’t matter. But for you, I wanted to do it the right way. So, this was truly a challenge.

After doing my best to count squares and figuring out where things were placed, it took a beautiful shape.

    19011468205_cab3e82fbe_o.png

Eventually, I changed some things and continued the fun process of creating this new home for you. @ADWilson & @tanubanue really helped me by giving me feedback with design and such!

Finally, after about 4 weeks of working evenings and any spare time I had, I finally finished the labor of love. I won’t go into detail of all the problems I had, but suffice it to say, I learned much about the game (or re-learned in some cases) and my skills throughout the process.

Now, during my final Custard check, I did find some kind of plant cc. I really thought my game was cc free, but needed to figure out what it was that had invaded my build. So, I spent an entire evening deleting, re-exporting, Custard checking, etc. Finally, I found the culprit. It was some custom photos my sim had taken and I had put on the walls. So, there is NO CC. Who knew custom photos showed as CC? Not me. Lol

    On to the last gift…

Introducing Villa da Silva: Exchange Link

    Lot Type: Residential
    Lot Size: 30x20
    Price: 98,978
Original Address: 29 Paradise Cir, Sunlit Tides

    19910214472_3364fd162f_b.jpg

You may see Jason and Janna around. They were my test sims. I created Jason for a game on the forums and Janna was created by @Alleenmens.

    19758726082_96ece21483_b.jpg

Let's start with the outside of the house.

The path from the front to the garage area and side yard.

    19739694616_6f294b914f_b.jpg

The front entrance along with the other side of the yard.

    19770592811_25566fe8e6_b.jpg

    19758606202_a505f235c1_b.jpg

One back corner where you'll see the special hiding place for the trash and recycling. ;)

    19144969713_79d42e8b9c_b.jpg

    The back of the house.

    19577847268_22db77839f_b.jpg

The last corner where you can sit and enjoy the fire pit plus more.

    19758596732_5635d2f7ce_b.jpg

    19577863500_6f3e9a1be4_b.jpg

More of the other side of this beautiful corner. There is a lovely garden here that Jason and Janna have beeing lovingly working on, just for you.

    19144960433_e8341523ed_b.jpg

    19145006823_9323b35ae7_b.jpg

    19770621531_b313d1a5d3_b.jpg

Here's the garage for whatever car you want your sim to have.

    19758722992_95f25280d9_b.jpg

Here is the relaxing non-working garden. In other words, you don't need a gardener. ;)

    19765896405_38ee318e13_b.jpg

    19143297234_1994b58473_b.jpg

    19144987653_ea8f6308fa_b.jpg

    19758616752_f2bf67509d_b.jpg

On the back side of the house, near the telescope, is a special place for painting. You'll see Jason painting his wife. The cat in the container on the ground always appears life-like. Doesn't it seem like it could jump out of the box at any moment? Here, kitty kitty!

    19145003723_b6aecec102_b.jpg

Near the back doors sits the chess table, waiting for a few players.

    19758716732_41b63f758b_b.jpg

As the sun sets, Jason and Janna roast some yummy food. Janna has some bananas. Mmmmm.... Jason chose...well, sweet grass. ;)

    19739804286_8caf784cfc_b.jpg

Now it's time for the inside. For funsies, let's start with the bathroom. lol Your sim will love being able to take the quick shower or relax in their own tub.

    19577926110_5325cf007e_b.jpg

    19143366694_4c9fddb6b8_b.jpg

    19739783346_246a75220e_b.jpg

    19579354169_396ed1fc1c_b.jpg

Next up is the bedroom. This room where your sim will sleep not only has an amazingly comfortable bed, but also a few chairs to sit and enjoy the coziness of their own room. Jason had fun taking the two pictures on either side of the bed. He thought they went well with the rest of the room.

    19577954388_9597a75867_b.jpg

    19579363579_04caa94e5c_b.jpg

    19577951428_0ecf1b1316_b.jpg

Here are some close-ups of a few areas I love most.

    19577938408_a87a79bb94_b.jpg

    19577935228_4dec2f6ceb_b.jpg

    19579337859_9926408943_b.jpg

Here's the entry way into the house.

    19577915740_6c5477886c_b.jpg

    19765941435_d483af5e65_b.jpg

    19770655621_8f2aa7590c_b.jpg

Here's the office area where I'm sure your sims will work hard...or play games. Jason thought those palm tree photos would look wonderful on the wall, too. I agreed.

    19577920658_c06dc6a12c_b.jpg

Here's the living room area. You might see a guitar in the corner plus the multi-tab on the edge of the table. They may not be necessities, but it's always nice to have a couple of perks.

    19739755246_27cfe4cd9d_b.jpg

    19739752416_197f385dd1_b.jpg

Next is the lovely dining room. The sunset picture in the corner is one of Jason's favorites. There is plenty of room at the table for friends and family to enjoy eating and talking.

    19145032173_bb86c704a8_b.jpg

    19739746206_b121fb2071_b.jpg

    19765920775_32d561cc00_b.jpg

The kitchen is far from boring with all the amenities one would need. Jason's pictures on the walls of his garden kind of set the mood for freshness. Life is good with garden fresh food.

    19577886790_6a80323184_b.jpg

    19145019263_92279a8bc3_b.jpg

    19143318574_48913e0c3f_b.jpg

One final look at the interior before we go...

    19577892368_df26d58780_b.jpg

    The overhead layout...

    19758591332_1dc23610f2_b.jpg

The house may seem a bit small, but it could always be plopped on a larger lot and grown out further. Or, even can go up, too.

Again, I hope you enjoy all the gifts, especially my fav, the house. <3

The horse ranch is gorgeous! I always hate the one that came with Appaloussa Plains and this one will replace it real quick lol I love how you've made it so that sims needs can be met while training their horses. I have a teen girl who has a horse who needs to come on out of the bin and play some :) She's gonna do just that but she and her Dad will be adding a few certain other horses to her family as well. Just so happens that her horse is a male so I see another mating in the future :p

    Oh, one last thing.

While I was working on the house, I had an incident that I wanted to share. As usual, I frequently forget to put a burglar alarm in. So, the house was burglarized. Hehe…

And for a good laugh. While Jason was taking photos and helping me out, he had a special surprise. ;)

    19460287396_75a2650fba_o.png

    Uh-oh. Jason found her.

    18865714353_474c684029_o.png

But due to the limitations of the game, Jason couldn't attack the burglar. :/ So, she got right to work.

    19460281716_9cd1803ba2_o.png

Yes, first the bath tub and then the shower. I hadn't saved these exact ones. lol

    19298754318_0792a941c8_o.png

He called the police and they came pretty quickly. Though, not quick enough to stop her stealing two items. (In my wishacy, the burglar went straight for the bathroom, too. That's how they train 'em I guess.)

    19486322735_c73b5735ca_o.png

The police officer looks very angry. Perhaps she's tired of the Bathroom Bandit too!

    19300198999_36f9c724a6_o.png

The burglar wasn't very smart. She could have easily run.

    19486318365_40fb5c835e_o.png

See? What officer says "Stay here by the car while I survey the house"? Granted, the officer did have a gun. :o

    19479946042_e850c01085_o.png

Jason (and I) are super happy to find the officer found the stolen items and returned them into the household inventory. Woot! No re-coloring for me!

    19298767380_414ff0c48c_o.png

Yeah, just had to laugh at that whole thing! I hope you enjoyed this little story.

Villa da Silva is a wonderful place. I love the garden area and the little pond/fountain area. The way you decorated the inside just takes you away as if you could just pop right into the picture and walk around to enjoy everything. To bad Jason & Janna aren't included, it would be fun to watch them carry on taking care of the house and to play them. I love the kitchen with the wood oven for baking, it sure makes things a lot easier to bake.
The story about the burglar is always so funny. I do love how they always go for the bathrooms even when you have expensive stuff laying around else where.

Thanks! I tried to add fish to the pond, but it wasn't big enough. lol Oh, well. That's what happens when I create something on a smaller lot. Next time, I'll start with a 40x40. :D

Well, I don't want to upload something I didn't create (unless I get her permission). You can find Jason Blackland here and Janna Anthony by Alleenmens here. They aren't married yet nor do they have the skills I have in my game, but they are a sweet couple and I'm sure it wouldn't take long to get their skills up.

The semi outdoor garden is just lovely, I could imagine spending many sunny days out there enjoying the beauty.

The horse ranch is really fun looking and a great place for the amazing horses you made to live. :)

The are wonderful! I will be sure to add them to my game and when I do I will most definitely give you and Alleenmens credit for them. Thank you for giving me the link for both of them :) I'll see what happens if these 2 will fall inlove, get married and have kids. Who knows what the future brings with these two.

I think it would be great making the house on a 40x40 and adding the fishing pond, maybe I'll put the house on a 40x40 and stretch it out a little to add the fishing pond.

No problem at all! You're very welcome!

I think I'll probably extend it myself a little. You're making me want to rush through my legacy now. lol

The semi outdoor garden is just lovely, I could imagine spending many sunny days out there enjoying the beauty.

The horse ranch is really fun looking and a great place for the amazing horses you made to live. :)

Thanks @Catdog123!! Coming from you this makes it even better! You are very talented and I appreciate the kind words.

It's possible Patchwork Galaxy won't show up in your CAS. If that happens, here's the whole family as a household. :)

Okay, where do I start dear @lovesstorms... Sorry it has took me so long to get back here! I needed to steal some time from work  I can honestly say, that you made a little tear drop to my eye every time I saw you updated something. You really made a whole thread for sharing these! You're so sweet  I thought that it was a gift sharing thread, not gifts...

I think I laughed a little when I saw the last picture of Grey Musket! What an adorable view of him, and the dark night and moon in the back... He seems to have some character! And Starry Night, she's just stunning! You have done a huge job with her looks... I'm very glad you introduced us their foal. The picture with the butterflies is very cute, and the name, Patchwork Galaxy! I'm really going to enjoy them!

The stable :open_mouth: Really, where can I start? It's amazing! A full stable with nothing missing, and it looks so good! Quite nice amount of room  I love the blue wallpaper in the sleeping room with the white border and the the kitchen is awesome!

Villa da Silva... I love it! The garden, the columns, the bathroom... The grey stone wall in it is very nice. I don't recognize every item in the bedroom, but those pink chairs look comfy! And oh the living room! I love the stone walls! :open_mouth: You really managed to make the room look like it's actually been lived in, in a good taste... Dining room, ah, oh... And the outerior looks so realistic!

I can't wait to get the game on and to try these out! I think it's refreshing that you built these to Sunlit Tides  Maybe you should concider yourself as a builder from now on? I don't believe when you say that you have only built boxes before, the villa for an example is a true masterpiece..!

About the burglar... :D I'm so done with them! I usually don't have the burglar alarm either, but then they never bother me. But once I had a lot where I had the alarm on a entrance gate. I had frequently burglars and every time the the cop came, but never caught the burglar. I have pictures from three different times when the burglar walks beside the police, who says that we didn't catch the burglar this time... Maybe 'cause they didn't even try?

I need to get back to work  You know I can't thank you enough
