  • The car, functioning as you describe, sounds enjoyable. To further the idea a little, perhaps it could function like the rocket too. The Sim could take it for a spin and the player would only see it leave the lot, but get chance cards and 'direct' the journey.
  • When my Sim feels better for drinking orange juice the little blurb mentions the importance of keeping the Sim hydrated. For that reason I never stop or interrupt them when they get themselves a glass of water. Hoping for prevention rather than cure :)
  • I've been wondering whether or not to post this observation because I don't know how obvious it is. But I might as well pipe up here. I was playing a family of 8 recently and would often find a Sim just standing about after I'd directed them to do something, so I suspected lag or a bug or some such. Nope, the problem would…
  • @Bear31 - you can get a mod to stop the hand washing at Mod the Sims. I didn't want mods in my game and it's the only one I've made an exception for. It's well worth it.
  • @B_E2009 - I recently downloaded Sims 4 versions of all the Sims 2 base game families from the Gallery. You'd have to see them to believe them, some are amazing. Many of their houses are available, too. I loved making my 'Sims 2' game, it filled up a little space where something had felt missing :)
  • One way to accomplish a sleep-over would be to give the Always Welcome (think that's right) reward trait to each member of the family. You'd have to play the sleeping-over Sim each time so it's probably only half a solution, but better than nothing :)
  • I might be inclined to put Malcolm in with Vlad. There could be an interesting exchange of ideas between the Nouveau Riche and Old Money. Both might prosper from it :)
  • You do raise an interesting point that surely requires more thinking about. But let's not stop at foot size, let's have proper feetures: Corns, bunions, veruccas, fallen arches. All very necessary for realism. After all, if acne is a selling point for the new GP, something similar to enhance our enjoyment of Sims' feet is…
  • I don't think it hurt to have Bella to help advertise Sims 4 :) Poor Mortimer's been quite poorly treated - already an elder in Sims 2 and absolutely ferrety looking in Sims 4. I like Cassandra and wish she could have her Sims 2 frock back. I never let her marry Don in Sims 2. I'd get her to Strangetown where she could…
  • Bugs (not the little creepy kind) :p
  • Just a simple click to sell items from the inventory would do me. All the dragging and dropping can be difficult, for some items more than others. The ability to transfer items from one Sim's inventory to another would be appreciated, too.
  • I went back to Sims 2 after a couple of not very happy years of playing Sims 3. Finally, I could download CC and much of it was wonderful. It pretty much gave me a new game. But - meshes :s they all got mixed up. I must have spent enough hours to occupy a long-term full time job sorting them and everything else out. I had…
  • I haven't seen anyone else mention this so perhaps it just me. When my Sim goes to Sixam the plants and geode thingies haven't 'recovered' from the last visit when they were harvested. My Sims loiter about outside the house after work too. Sometimes they do it after jogging so I try and remember to queue something for them…
  • Queues - one could stand there all day and attract flies ;)
  • Besides giving Andrew a few goes at deciding for himself, I'd watch how Siya and Kate react around him. Perhaps one is a bit more enthusiastic than the other? I somehow can't see Siya settling down too comfortably and she looks as if she'd be hard to tear away from that computer :) Life with either of them doesn't have to…
  • There's a definite need for some decent bottoms in both the male and female department. Better colours, too. The selection of female nightwear can be improved by including cropped leggings with with some of the longer tops. But swimwear is just beyond the pale, what a performance trying to fish out matching tops and…
  • I understand what you're suggesting but am having some difficulty in imagining how it could be implemented. My only helpful (?) idea is for a School of Hard Knocks Aspiration and let the game take it from there. The player could try and fulfil the whims as usual but perhaps the game could randomly skew the outcomes. More…
  • Why not try again but delete the Vampire households in the games where their presence is unwanted? Try checking in Household Management before and after you play so you can catch any newly generated ones and you'll probably solve most of the problem. It's a shame to lose out on an entire GP after you bought it.
  • I have two bugbears at the moment. Sims getting on top of each other to eat. One of my Sims went in to sit on her grandfather's (double) bed whilst he was asleep over the other side. As she was chomping other members of the family piled in to eat and talk. I've solved the issue by making all Sims permanently lock their…
  • There may have been less male clothing in evidence but what there was looked better than most of the female items. I had no problem voting for a lot of it. The female tops were all, imo, ghastly. Usual skimpy puffy stuff; big bow or butterfly on the front; halfhearted kaftan type thing. Only one pair of bottoms that I…

  • Not just change a trait but get rid of some of the Reward traits if they don't work out so well. I downloaded a Sim with just about every Reward trait going so now there's no respite. She hardly needs to pee, eat or sleep and it's hard to keep her occupied all the time.
  • Small elevators/shuttles about the size of a shower might require less new animation and be just as efficient as spiral staircases. I can't remember now whether they featured in Sims 2 or 3. ETA - I was thinking of Sims 3 tube elevators. Having said that, I'd like to have spiral staircases in the game. I've solved the…
  • Me too :) of all the traits this seems to be the one that was well thought through, works as it should, and is fun for the player. ... Possibly the Genius trait is equally well executed but I stopped playing it almost as soon as I started. I got so fed up of the Sim 'being tense' and the accompanying histrionics that I…
  • I got my Sim - the second one I'd ever played - to the top of the Entertainment Career. She was very accomplished and I enjoyed listening to her singing and playing her instruments. Then I noticed that she was a Renaissance Sim and part of her Aspiration requirements was to get to Level 3 in three different jobs (something…
  • In my household of 8 Sims the grandfather is one of those Sims who is just a nuisance. He's always using facilities at exactly the time I want them or trying to talk to the others when they're busy. I got a message warning me that he was getting past it the last time he was 'intimate' with his wife. A sad day for her…
  • I like the Sims learning to play musical instruments. In the first few stages I have to go away and play out of the house because they're so awful, especially the violin, but then they get really good. I enjoy listening to them and could hardly believe it when one of them started playing a snippet from The House of the…
  • @Sablesasha - Brooklyn Ratsrbest has quite a distinguished ring to it :D I wouldn't worry too much about Daddy's cheekbones, which look fine to me, just hope you haven't set the scene for her to grow a tail and whiskers :p
  • If the Parenthood GP offers new traits that's all I need as a reason to buy it. Of the traits currently available I like about a third, dislike about a third and find the rest of them make very little difference to the Sim's behaviour. I recently downloaded a Sim from the Gallery and discovered she had a couple of dozen…
  • Well... since you're expecting it: HOW VERY DARE YOU look for, and find, anything positive or enjoyable in this game? HOW COULD YOU? What's that? The game isn't as bad as it's cracked up to be? It's really quite immersive and addicting? What there is really isn't too badly done? The Sims are delightful? Flippin' eck, we…
  • A Supernatural GP would suit me. Witches and Fairies in their own neighbourhood. If the next GP included a vacation destination it would be nice if there was an empty version available to be used like a normal neighbourhood. Even nicer if the vacation spot could be really exotic like a traditional India or China with all…
