What I like doing is setting my seasons to 28 days, with aging off until I get everyone settled. Then if I am playing with teens or younger then I will play with aging on, until a day or two before their birthday. At that point I will turn off aging, until I am ready for them to start their next stage of life.
I voted for clothes, hairstyles, and accessories for all packs before Seasons. To give all those sims summer and winter outfits. To have a free base game update to add some added coats and boots. Also to be able to save combined outfits in CAS and to have the game pick those for game generated sims, without having to use a…
In my opinion, I feel that Oasis Springs has a Nevada feel to it (Area 51). The reason is, that if you own Get to Work, which has the Science Career. The Science Career building is set in a desert location that looks like it could be just on the outskirts of Oasis Springs. If you have played this career, eventually your…
I have noticed that Kyle has only asked to visit, only after the Elder Female sim asks if she can help with the infant, and stays for about a week. After she leaves that was when Kyle asked to visit. My sim was living in San Sequoia. Haven't tested to see if this work in the other towns.
I checked him with MCCC, I couldn't find anything out of the ordinary (this was a new sim). I would check yours to see if there might be a trait that would have been added through the reward store. If you find it, there is possibly a cheat to remove traits.
Check around outside the house, this is what turns on the automatic sprinklers to put out fires. It comes in one of three different colors, mostly either white or red.
In one of my game saves I aged down Aubrey Bloom to an infant, and moved her in with Alex Moyer. Alex adopted Aubrey, and not too long afterward Kyle came over for an extended stay. Without me really doing anything Alex and Kyle really connected, and later were married, and they both adopted little Aubrey. Alex and Kyle…
I started back in 2001, but it was the console games. Only got started playing it after my boys had finally started school. Had a computer at the time, but it was not compatible. In 2005 was when I started to actually play the PC versions, starting with Sims 1, but that PC was a bit behind the times at the time. :*
Any sim, including NPCs once they die will automatically be placed in the Hidden Household section of the game. This will allow them to still be part of the family tree, and interact as sim ghosts are allowed. Now heading off to the Netherworld, there is no coming back from there, and they will be deleted from the game.…
SimVIP has information on what is included in the different packs, including pictures. https://simsvip.com/sims-4-stuff-pack-guides/ At the top of the page, it can be found under Game Guides.
If you are not opposed to mods, the MCCC mod can help you find your ghost. Whenever a sim dies, they go into what is called a Hidden Household section of the game. The MCCC mod has an option for you to bring out any sim (ghost included) to the playable section in the manage household part of your game. I've used this when…
I was curious about the different milestones and came across the page at the link. https://simscommunity.info/2023/03/24/sims-4-growing-together-milestones/
I find when this happens in my game, and it's quite often now, I will exit the game (do not save). Completely exit out of, and then reboot game launcher. Then startup the game again and usually everything is back.
In a recent game save, with the addition of Infants, I took a sim, never played, but had created and saved in my library. I aged her down and was just intending on letting her grow up, develop, and progress with her as she grows up. I was intending for her to be an orphan, so I placed her with a single premade sim. I…
I have one baby that I took my single sim to have a Science Baby. Just to let you know this was before I added this pack, but the free update version at the time. The baby has the exact same hair, eye, and skin color as the mother. So I'm assuming she will be a clone of her mother.
I remember this in Sims 3 and hated it. This is something that I could really do without in Sims 4. I don't even know what a midlife crisis is, and neither does my husband, and we are both in our 50s, we never had one in real life.
That is my problem at the moment, my family can't own a shower tub combo yet. They have a new baby, so just having a shower is out of the question at the moment.
