Second Life has public servers. Would this work for The Sims? Absolutely not. Would having your own private server where you could send an invite code to your friends so they’re able to join you work? Yup! I should have mentioned in my original post that I don’t think that The Sims should have public servers. This is…
By multiplayer, I mean having the ability to play with your friends. I don’t think having online servers open to all players is a good idea. It simply wouldn’t work as not everybody would follow the rules. Ideally, you’d have an invite code that you could simply send to your friend, thus allowing them to join your…
Did you know that you can actually go on the TS4 official website and read about what the pack has to offer? A lot of what they've written does not seem to add extensive elements to the overall gameplay, or many things included in the pack seem like a do it once and then you're done. We can agree to disagree though, as you…
You're totally right.. we ARE the customers, which means we can express how we feel about their product. I've seen some people going overboard but 99% of people complaining about it are doing it in a respectful manner. Understand that this pack is extremely lackluster compared to some of the other packs that they've…
You say we as a community voted for the eco-living theme when we were voting for a stuff pack. Keywords, Stuff Pack. Do you see where your argument might be flawed? Had they given us an option to vote for an EP and included Eco-Living along with other themes like Farming, Generations, and even Cars, I can almost guarantee…
Thank you for making this thread! I think when people voted on an "Eco-Living" type theme, which is pretty broad, they were expecting something entirely different. More farming aspects, some more animals, solar panels, a world that has a more farm-like feel.. this is just my take on it. Instead, we get a world [which i'm…
I am actually in complete shock at this EP. Looks like the most boring & lackluster EP they've made thus far. This could have easily been included in an GP or even an SP. I'm incredibly disappointed with this, like really.. TS4 has really gone downhill and I don't expect it to make a comeback. I'll be patiently waiting for…
I'm personally not excited for it. I feel as though this could've easily been a GP or an SP.. seems like a waste of an EP. Very lackluster looking gameplay as well.. I am highly disappointed.
Some of us are interested in playing the most recent games released. Although TS3 & TS2 are very fun, they are slightly outdated for me. I play TS4 because there are some incredible aspects involved, but the packs are really not doing anything for me. I can only hope they release a pack I'm actually interested in.
Yup, you're right. The community is never pleased because each player has a differentiated and unique idea on how they want to experience their game, and some will like a pack idea and others will not. You saying they did us dirty by releasing Laundry Day is an example of you, a member of the community, not being pleased…
If you really want something that will keep you busy a stuff pack is not it, ESPECIALLY My First Pet.. avoid that at all costs. You'll need to get a GP or an EP if you're really looking to expand your gameplay. I'd say go with Jungle Adventure since it is on sale rn, and in my opinion, it's a pretty fun pack. I dislike…
I'd have to disagree with you on the pricing aspect. I think it was more reasonable to price the EP's at a higher price for TS3, as the content you got in each pack was far greater than what TS4 has offered. Every TS4 expansion pack, in my opinion, has been very lackluster.. I think a majority of players will wait to buy…
For anybody curious as to where I am getting my information, you can find it here: https://simscommunity.info/2020/05/05/official-the-sims-4-eco-lifestyle-is-the-next-expansion-pack/
For me when I think of Eco Living I do envision some kind of farming aspects.. like, we all wanted more animal types so badly. Had they actually added horses and potentially other barn animals like pigs, cows, goats, etc., this pack could've potentially been their most successful.
