@ordalya Don't fret about not being able to post pictures, you can't yet as a 'new member'. You need 30 posts and... I forget, so many 'likes' to become a full member. Until then you can't post pictures or live links, but it doesn't take long to get there. Welcome! So I hadn't even loaded up the game in months, been super…
@ciane lovely! I really like your use of the window over the garage door, that is always a tricky one to get into a build. @Pinkusfamily I like the layout and the back yard especially :) @JMConcept What a cute build! Very cozy almost cottage feel. I really like the seating area by the pool. @oliv3 Great modern style!…
[quote="KokoaBean222;c-17531554"I don't know if you still need to know, but you can use 9 and 0 on the keyboard to elevate the object (9 for up and 0 for down)[/quote] I have no idea how it is some of you are doing this, or you are just skillfully trolling the rests of us. Are you thinking of Sims 4, because there is no…
OOh I drooled over this earlier but looks like I forgot to comment - So beautiful! Never been to France but that is the vibe I imagine from media and such. Well done!
OMG So back to that wicker - you've seen Black Books, yes? If not, I have no idea if it would appeal to your humor or not but I love it - but your latest with the wicker light fixture and suddenly this is running through my head: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=auqrV9g4JA4 :D
@seaben I'm so sorry to hear how close you are to 'ground zero' as it were. I hope you and yours stay safe. It's certainly very concerning for many of us, as the protests and violent response are spreading in many cities.
@Pinkusfamily Wow! Love the pool table! And I like that the master bedroom is separate from the other two. Great job! @iampes23 That is some amazing color you've got there! Love the kitchen, especially! Glad you made it in time!
@aricarai Thanks! I've been wanting to make a starter home that was more like a starter home-less for a while. I only played it with a single sim, I think that tent holds a family, though? But not sure if it would hold a toddler or not. Might be something to try. But it was oddly fun to play!
Home Away From House - no cc Home Away From House photo album Inspired (quite after the fact) by @aricarai 's Seclusion, which was built in response to a teen runaway challenge, this is a non-home on a 10x10 lot where a homeless sim can settle down without being tied down. Tent, outhouse, primitive plumbing, and a firepit…
I can't even! Well, first that would so totally crash my system! LOL But it's breathtakingly stunning! Every tiny detail that you saw to - this must have taken AGES to complete!! It is magnificent in every way possible!
@aricarai I'm so glad! Yes, of course you can use whatever screenshots you like :) (though my graphic settings aren't the best, you're welcome to take some of your own if you prefer) @soocoolsim Thank you! It's amazing how much you can fit in if you just 'wait' long enough :D
The urge to name this cottage 'Wicker'-something was almost overwhelming ;) Thornton Cottage - a homage renovation of @aricarai 's Quaint Cottage Her review of this early build of hers is absolutely hilarious! And her make-over is stunning (as always). But once again, I couldn't help but dip my fingers in and meddle with…
Also, totally renovating your cottage, too! And trying my plummest to keep it as a starter, though I've conceded that it will be a family starter instead of a single lol
BTW I don't think you've been mispronouncing the buckhorn - it is called that in Sims, but I think they got it wrong. If you look at all the other types, like the haunted buckthorn, then they actually call it a buckthorn, and in the trees there's a buckhorn tree, but then again the haunted is called a haunted buckthorn. So…
@ciane Thank you! I actually had a completely different build at first but just could not get it in under budget. I am really happy with how the final turned out - but even saying that as soon as I was done I started rebuilding it outside of the challenge constraints and ended up with a cabin I am really in love with -…
Donwload link: Cedarview Cabin - no cc Photo album: Cedarview Cabin Created for Build n Share challenge #226 Starstruck, a famous Ms Grace wanted a cozy, a 'touch' rustic getaway for her and some of her friends. I definitely built this falling firmly on the rustic-end of "a touch" with a mountain cabin. I used stone, wood,…
(This budget was brutal! LOL I mean, it wasn't really, but it was hard to make a celebrity getaway with all the bells and whistles I wanted to add and keep to that cost) OFFICIAL ENTRY FORM #226 - Starstruck NAME: creativemetaphor LINK TO LOT: Cedarview Cabin - no cc LINK TO MEDIA: Cedarview Cabin OPTIONAL CHALLENGE: n/a…
@ciane Oh dear, somehow I managed to miss yours entirely! Looks great, amazing that you made a cohesive house out of this marvelously convoluted foundation!
Bleakhollow Cemetery I include a linework tracing to highlight the footprint since several items obscure parts of it. I took one liberty in where I put the stairs through. Otherwise, I tried to make this a pretty functional cemetery - graves to mourn at, a mausoleum to tour, Death's door, a tomb, chapel with a podium and…
@kgaff That is so brilliant!!! Oh my goodness, that is just perfectly stunning! Funny, I decided to go with a community lot as well, but I went a bit... darker ;)
