My brother was really into it as a kid but he outgrew it. I like The Sims 1 and 2, and 3 is okay, but it's tone and orientation towards a wider consumer market has changed over the years. The differences between The Sims 1 and 4 are astounding, although some changes have been for the better.

There's no set limit, it's all based on how much hard drive space you've got. I bought a 2 Terabyte hard drive for $40 a while back and I never need to worry about space limits again.

I used to play it on my Acer and it crashed about once every ten times I played it. I finally got fed up with using a cheap computer and built a PC for $1000. With no lag, short load times, and no crashing as of yet, plus the fact that I can play it with the highest graphics settings I like, it was worth every penny.

Riverview is a nice world. It doesn't really have a specific theme, which I've always liked. Lunar Lakes has an alien planet theme, but it seems that's not what you're looking for.

Like I said, I don't know much about SimPort because I never use it. But if someone's game is trying to load mods of a game another player is "visiting", I would imagine that could cause some serious problems.

Can you describe some of the bugs you're experiencing? Also, are you using any mods at all? If you are, uninstalling them may not have gotten rid of all of the files associated with the mod. I don't know much about SimPort but it's possible the player who you visited had mods or Custom Content installed that corrupted your game.

Well it sounds like there is more than one cause of these problems. One thing I can suggest is the classic uninstalling and reinstalling the game. Can you give us your computer's specs? Like the RAM and your graphics card?
