I think there will be overlap and it will be a very different game. I think they are prepared for some people to not like what Rene represents and to prefer to stick with TS4, and therefore it will still be making some pack sales.
Yeah one of the advantages of TS3, all the sims in the world went about their lives. But the downside of that was whenever I wanted to have a get-together all their friends were busy or at work.
Well if each place the sim can travel to is a world, then the entire collection of them must be a galaxy, which explains why they don't use cars - obviously they are travelling in spaceships.
This is all quite good news for me. In The Sims 2 I used mods to get rid of things like the social bunny and I also did not make any effort in my gameplay to fulfil wants or avoid fears. I decided to let the sims make those decisions for themselves. Those that did not autonomously choose to do things that were on their…
I hope we can delete the corner walls inside after placing them. I don't want it to be like the roof sections where we can't delete the end gable walls.
The only problem I have with this is that it turns it into fundamentally a different game, and I am not sure that should happen in a basegame patch which is not easy to just skip - unless you want no future patches. If there is a toggle to completely disable this set of features then that's ok but otherwise some people are…
I know who one of the clients is, and if I click on him in the relationship pane, and then open his profile, there it does say he is a legal client. But I can't really do that with every sim in the game just in case - it's too many clicks!!
Oh boy that sounds complicated. The game warned me that each extra client brings more responsibility so I thought it would be important to know how many I had so as not to overdo it.
I agree, don't expect anything you can actually play, not even early release, this year. They haven't finished designing it yet, let alone programming it. However I am pretty sure now that there IS going to be a finished product and it's not just vaporware.
The one benefit of companies now using social media is you can ask the same question everyone else asked and no one moans that you didn't search first because there is always someone who hasn't answered that same question before and isn't bored answering it over again :D
I would be put off if the objects were not in proportion to each other or the simmies. It's been turning me off this currrent game since the beginning. And if venues were unrealistically empty, which isn't a problem in TS4 but was in 3. Also if the sims went super unrealistic and had grotesque bobble-heads etc, which…
Assuming you're talking about people who have their sims pose for a story they already scripted with a view to publishing? I voted Sims 4 because the game makes it easier to ensure the sims you need will come to the lot you need to screenshot them on, and they're not as likely to refuse to do stuff as in previous games.…
I'd like them to return to the TS2 gameplay features, with TS3 object and terrain graphic style, and TS4 sim graphic style. Make that into the final offline Sims game. Then additionally, as a separate game, bring back something like The Sims Online, or perhaps a version of the sims that could be like the last SimCity…
I just want a different simming experience for a change. Ever since they took off SimsOnline, sim playing has felt the same since y2K. I've been trying to work out the reason I barely play any more, and can't put my finger on the exact reason. I reckon I am just bored with it.
The guy in the livestream was saying how much work they'd put into making sure the swatches matched. Disappointing that the lighting makes them all look different therefore. Must be disheartening for the texture artists who worked on these.
