  • Don't forget the AHQ forums are going to be "home" until they get the new forums running, too. It's just for a while.
  • That is an awesome looking world! What do you call it?
  • Thanks so much @EA_Cade and @Rob 1992! I went back to the site on my other computer, just to check, and it had come back up. Very relieved! Well, it's time to buy more simpoints and go shopping again.
  • I noticed just the other day that Roaring Heights was on sale. Didn't think it was very cheap but still better than full price. I can highly recommend that world. It's so beautiful and the buildings are unique.
  • I still play Sims 3 but not all the time. I have recently gone back to playing Sims 1 & 2 and while I enjoy them, they are so limiting in what I can create. Sims 3 gives me so much freedom! I do like Sims 4 and love some of the things it has (like the rocket ship) but I find myself just wishing I could port them to Sims 3.…
  • Thank you for the heads up about this new game. My computer kept trying to get me to try the game but I resisted. The look of it is very impressive to me. I don't do too many RPGs. I might try it come Christmas. Your pics are awesome!
  • I am sad beyond words that I can't participate in this! It's so much fun! But we are on vacation right now and won't be home for a while. All of your pics look so beautiful. @coco I thought that picture behind your Sims was of Princess Leia. ;)
  • I have all of my Sims1 discs (even though no computer will play them), the Sims 1 complete edition (can't remember the real name), all Sims 2 discs, plus Sims 2 Complete on EA app, all Sims 3 discs, Sims 3 on EA app (on my laptop), Most of Sims 4 on EA app, Sims Midieval, and maybe some other sims stuff I can't remember!…
  • I am playing a mostly vanilla game. I keep meaning to download and try out the NRAAS mods but never have. I did have a yoga mod for a while but it kept glitching. Now I have a few items but nothing that is really a mod.
  • Stylesdruk, what kind of computer are you using? Is it that it won't run the EA app? Some older computers won't.
  • I discovered that if I click on "run as administrator" in the EA app, I can usually get my Sims 3 game to load. But sometimes I have to completely shut down my computer and start again. This app is very tricky- it doesn't like to run Sims 3. I also have a shortcut on my desktop but it usually just tries to load only the…
  • This is what I love about Sims 3! The little things you never knew existed.
  • From my recent play, I discovered that you can store 1 shower in a can inside your tent when you pull it out of your inventory at home, put it on the floor and it becomes the duffle bag. I was very surprised. But it only stores one. Also, I found out something I didn't know about the Swiftgro Garden Center. I knew it…
  • I am sure most people know about these beautiful Easter eggs but newbies might not know. You can gather Easter eggs at the Springtime Festival and every once in a while, you find special Faberge-type eggs. These are collectible. Notice the Freezer Bunny! Uh, pay no attention to the gnome. Don't know how he got up there!
  • Again, much thanks! so an NPC must have had a picnic at that table? Somehow, the tablecloth was left. Interesting...
  • Thank you! I appreciate the answer. So if I put the picnic basket on the picnic table it will spawn the tablecloth?
  • When you see an item in a homegoods store in real life that is an exact replica of an item you use in Sims 3 all the time! And you just keep circling around it thinking How can that be here?
  • I had a Frankenstein family once! Was a lot of fun but I haven't played them in ages. Your game sounds like a ton of fun. If you ever do get to play the evil sim as a policeman, please let us know how it went. Sounds so interesting, especially if they have the klepto trait too.
  • I always liked Bridgeport but it's not teaming with life. I love the bars and subways and the fact that the courthouse has pigeons. Don't ever try playing the Ghost Hunter career in that world. Totally unplayable as most of the ghosts get lost in the walls of the buildings! World Adventures is one of my favorite EPs. I…
  • 407. Probably mentioned but really far back, play the Dumpster Dive challenge! I always modify my game so I can get some things that can't be found in dumpsters - like a toilet! Some things can be crafted. It's a ton of fun and hard to master but you get some interesting gameplay. 408. Almost forgot this one, befriend an…
  • Complexifier is my new favorite word. You hit the nail right on the head as far as EA app is concerned. I am a big Roaring Heights fan and so glad you are enjoying it. Yes, the library got no love.
  • I love this thread! I can't play without the Swiftgro Gardening Station if my sims are gardeners. It's a must have. For decorating during the holidays, I love the Christmas, Thanksgiving, and Halloween sets in the store. They're free!! Makes the holidays so much merrier. And lastly, that beautiful hanging chair that looks…
  • I'm not sure but I remember once when this happened to me, I had to clear Internet explorer's caches. Then the launcher would work properly. Could this help?
  • So glad you're back to simming, Evalen!
  • @polrbear your pics are so crisp and clear! Do they look like that in game? The pics of IP are truly beautiful. Thanks for sharing!
  • Have Sims 3 on the app on my laptop and have been afraid to switch over. Yesterday it gave me no choice so I hit the button. Better to just get it over with, right? To my surprise it downloaded pretty quickly and all my packs transferred over. Most of my store stuff is there. Just missing some patterns and a few items. I…
  • I think the parasol is dedicated to keeping your sim cool and only the umbrella will protect from rain but I haven't tested This! Might be fun to test though.
  • @Deshong04 I like what you had to say about AI and the sims 3 and all the other observations you made. Totally agree! I love the Sims 3 and can't stop playing it. I now have quite a few Sims 4 games packs and the game is actually enjoyable now - but I just can't leave Sims 3. There is just more there. It's more than open…
  • You know, as far as some of you wanting cars, singers, R&B stations, etc. in Sims 4, I can only share some disappointments suffered by us older players re Sims 2 and 3. We wanted alot of things that Never materialized in those games - Superstar for Sims 2 and Restaurants and Yoga for Sims 3 are a couple I remember. We kind…
  • They did mention in passing that project Rene would be playable alone or in collaboration with a friend. So not all multiplayer.
