actually sims1 online had no lag, it was like any other mmorph.. but, and i say but, what was said on there should have been triple x'd.. I do not ever see them doing another on line game, due to how the other one turned out.

Oy, this has been discussed many times already. The majority of people who played Sims Online do not have any interest in playing an online version of the Sims again... evar. It was an awful game. Kudos to MAXIS for trying, but bleh!

I liked TSO, but it got old after a couple months. Wouldn't do it again. It failed pretty badly the first time and I don't think they'd take that risk again. Plus, new games that have monthly fees are not succeeding much in these rough economic times.

    LOL, nice to know!

And Simzy, I won't debate this with you-- an expansion does not count as making it a "new" game. Since it can't sell on its own without the already well-established fan-base (much like expansions for The Sims series), those would not do well otherwise. There are not masses of people picking up the base game and both Burning Crusade and now Lich King to begin playing WoW. There are newbs everday, but it is successful because of the fan-base that developed before the times got really hard.
