    Thank you Auntielynds for linking my textures here :mrgreen: If you downloaded my textures you have seen that they were JPG files, so today I've updated my textures to DDS, which is better. The link for download these new ones it's the same as the 1st post :wink:

    PS: Sorry for my bad english :XD:

    It seems as though Ashillion has removed all of his/her(?) textures from Mod The Sims. Every time I click one of those links it says that the thread has been deleted.

    Hmm, looks like he did. Maybe he'll re post them somewhere else, I'll keep my eye's open. :D

    Found Him! Gotta love google :D

    He's got his own blog Makai Industries.

    He has one road pack transferred over, I'm sure the rest will come soon.

    Thanks for the heads up. :mrgreen:

    That's odd. :?

    I tried the links, and they work fine for me.

    The textures are very easy to extract. You'll need:

    S3PE:
    http://dino.drealm.info/den/denforum/index.php

    Go into:
    Program Files(x86)
    Electronic Arts/ or Origins Games .
    *Depending if you have a Digital Download or not.
    The Sims 3 Pets
    GameData
    Shared
    NonPackaged
    Worlds
    CyXgM.jpg"width=400"

    For the WA worlds, China, Egypt, and France, the textures are in the FullBuildep1.package located here;

    wa_tex11.jpg"width=400"

    Copy the AppaloosaPlains.world file, and paste it where you can find it.

    Make a new folder on your desktop to export your textures to.

    Open S3PE

    Open AppaloosaPlains.world
    *Make sure you check the "All Files".

    hxVyZ.jpg

    untitl10.jpg"width=400"

    * If you get this error message when opening the .world file in s3pe, you'll need to drag-and-drop the .world file into Pescado's Decripify.exe which comes in the download for s3rc (Recompressor). Sometimes it takes a few tries to get it to fully decrapify. Took me at least a dozen tries to get BB to decrapify, and the one that worked, took a couple seconds longer to flash.

    If they don't all show up at the top, make sure you tick the "Sort" box, and "Display: Names Tags".

    0UwRz.jpg

    Click on the first texture, then scroll down to the last one listed. Hit Ctrl/Shift, and click on that last texture. They should all be highlighted now.

    Click on "Resources" on the top menu;
    "Export"
    "To File"

    Choose the folder you already made, and click "Save". That's it, you can rename them if you want because they export with long file names, but they're ready to use in Caw as is. :D

    Well i have a Sky router and after some research i found out that mediafire doesnt always work for some reason :/ so i used a proxy server to get around it (kproxy.com)and just copy and pasted the links into the proxy search bar.

    hope that helped 8)

    Edit: I believe the file for the dirt ranch corner normal is missing :shock:

    Hi, AuntieLynds! *waves*

    I was just looking through your list and realized the link for water_cat's French road textures leads to the old forum. The URL for those should be http://customsims3.com/forums/thread-206.html

    Thank you!!

    Regina,
    Thank you! I knew that he re-posted on the new forum, but the connection didn't make it in my brain :lol:

    Loving Reds,
    I uploaded a set to box. I'm hoping box doesn't have the same restrictions in Great Britain that mediafire has. Let me know if you have any problems. I'm thinking I'll do a mirror upload of all the textures for backup purposes.

    I believe you're right! :mrgreen: I fixed it in the box upload, I'll fix it for the mediafire one as well.

    Thank you for the heads up. :D

    Could someone please tell me where should I save custom road dds files? Do they go in the same folder as custom terrain paints?
