  i think you have to do testingcheatsenabled true first, and it has to be in edit town mode

  I did the first part, but not the last. I used the phone to move. Let me see if that works. Thanks!

  That cheat is like the Shaazam, and Edit in CAS cheats. It just doesn't work, no matter what you do. I even tried with Testingcheatsenabled true active, and I still couldn't get it to work.

  it works but you have to do it from edit town and then split household or move them like that. have to type the cheat each household you want to move

  Thanks guys. Luckily I didn't lose wishes because it's a new family for a story. You see why I needed a free house. XD

  As others have said, you must be in "Edit Town" mode. You also must enter the cheat AFTER selecting a family from the bin or creating a family and BEFORE you click the "Place Copy" button. I use this cheat all the time! It is one of my FAVORITES!! I don't even use motherlode anymore! LOL

  It works. I saw your post earlier today but couldn't copy/paste this from my phone.
  
  I'm just reposting this from one of my other threads.
  
  If you want to move for free you could always use the cheat freeRealEstate.
  You need to be in your game in Edit Town mode.
  Even though the household funds are just under $3500,
  click on the household you want to move and place them the clipboard.
  
  
  Open up the command prompt and type in freeRealEstate
  
  
  Click on the household on your clipboard and move them to the house you want.
  
  
  You will get a pop-up saying what the house is worth. Click on purchase.
  
  
  They now own that house.
  
  
  Then you can kaching or motherlode all you want after they move in.
  But you don't loose any funds doing this.
