Took my high-school grad photo (good heavens that shot is almost 30 years old and counting) and tried to do a sim that was slightly older (in his twenties, although he does look a bit weather-beaten here.
Seeing your sim in pictures here about your game play is the reason I decided I wanted a Japanese sim in my games. Keep posting about him.
Is this latest version available for upload? I'd like to see him in the Kurasoberina epiphantic starfruit skin I used on Tatsuo.

Thank you. I've downloaded Haruo but won't have any pictures of him in my game for awhile. I'm in the process of cleaning up and rebuilding a leaner less cluttered "Sims 3" folder. So no playing for awhile.
I have to say, I'm probably more picky than most when it comes to Asian sims in Sims 3. I've seen very few sims that don't have custom skin or sliders that really look asian. Sims 4 is MUCH better out of the box for making asian sims. On the other hand with Sims 3 people make amazing celeb sims.
Anyhow, here is one of my current asian sims:
IMO the hardest part to get right is the eyes, and Kurasoberina's epicanthic skin really goes a long way in fixing that.
I play what I know. AM/WF. Japanese mother/Japanese Father; Irish-American wife.

I went off photographs to make me and make my wife. I don't really think there's a certain bone-structure each Asian face is different. Of course, my wife is European (transplanted North American) white, so... well...

@Nikkei_Simmer My elder SS doesn't look Asian at all and that is quite true to life. My son saw photos of me as a young woman and asked why I looked Japanese then but look like a white old lady now
I've experimented with the creation of an Asian sim but I don't want to accidentally be offensive since I'm not Asian, but I'll try to make one and post to this thread

I didn't create this sim, EA did actually - she's in Isla Paradiso, but you can't see her very well under the granny hat!
I removed the hat and saw a beautiful Asian lady underneath.
