My guests keep shoveling my snow

I do not want my guests to shovel the snow piles in my yard. I want them to hang out with me! Indoors! It's like they have this compulsive need to do it, and it's really hard to get them to come back inside. I use "Call over" but they usually only stay inside for a minute and then they're back outside again. I don't totally understand the function of shoveling snow to begin with, but can't guests just be guests?

Does this occur with multiple households ? If you remove cc/mods, is it still occurring?. Try testing in a new save game to see if the same thing occurs there also
Repairing the game may help. To do that, go to games library in Origin, right click on the sims 4 picture and click repair
Try deleting the cache files and see if that helps

The only mod I have is for an extra career... not sure if that would mess anything up, but it is the same household. If I remove the mod and start a new game, then put the mod back, does that wreck my main game?
Will try to repair as well and see if anything happens. I just deleted my cache a few days ago, but I'll try that too.
If testing in your main game, if you remove your mods folder when testing don’t save your game when you have finished. Just exit the game. Then the game will just remain the same.
