grab a serving bug

just noticed this because i normally have them get leftovers from the fridge but i have a toddler now,
the bug children when i tell them to grab a serving while food is on the counter they will go to the bathroom and get in the bath for some strange reason as the bathroom is right next to the kitchen, first i thought it was just the child having the problem so i tried an adult and they do the same. The toddler can get the food fine from the counter fine.

Do the sims grab a serving and then eat in the bath, or do they just go to the bath without any food?

Repairing the game may help. To do that, go to games library in Origin, right click on the sims 4 picture and click repair
Try deleting the cache files and see if that helps

Try seeing if evicting them from the home, then putting them back into the original home may help.
