I actually just cleaned years' worth of unread emails in my Gmail and Yahoo. And I tried to unsubscribe to a bunch of stuff I never open
Done that, too. It's been awhile, though. I got rid of a lot of stuff at one point. At least it's all "unread" now. For awhile, I had like 10k+ emails unread. lol

I've actually lost count of the number of email accounts I have. I think I'm at 6 or 7 right now? I only use 2. One is for here, the other for school and work. The rest are my "spam accounts", used exclusively for stuff that gives me spam. As some of you know, my old email was turnersims3 but I've since abandoned that one because I never deleted emails either and I started getting too much daily spam.
Anyway, moral of the story is that everyone should have a spam account. Not as many as me though, it can get confusing. >.> But one "professional", one "recreational", and one "spam" account seems like a good system.
You can actually make throwaway accounts on Gmail and Yahoo when you need to sign up for something that seems shady. If you start receiving spam from that throwaway, you'll know who sold you out

Like I ask, did you check the spam folder? If not, check to see if it is there.
If that doesn't work, check the trash folder in case you deleted it by accident.
