Hi @Cbear13 ! Hate to ask this last minute but would there be any possible way to request an extension of thr deadline by 6 hours until 11:59pm July 1 instead of 6pm July 1?
I have an entry for a 64 x 64 lot that is about 90% done and was planning on working on it during the day Sunday but I had a last minute thing come up and it's pushed all my plans back by a few hours.

Deep in the heart of Asia lies Bamboo Village-the spot where bamboo first spawned on earth. Pink cherry trees are nestled among the bamboo. Unknown to the rest of the world, the residents fish in the natural spring and farm for food. They build what they need from bamboo- although, there’s a blacksmith and a candle maker and some stone, brick and rubber trees and wild sheep for the village’s loom to spin into cloth just outside the village, so those materials were used as well. Notes:
1. I placed 3 wooden mailboxes (which the residents never use because of their isolation) at the entrance to the village.
2. there’s a blacksmith and a candle maker and some stone, brick and rubber trees and wild sheep for the village’s loom to spin into cloth just outside the village. However, the loom is in the village.
3. Residents grill fish or cook it or fruit and vegetables inside on the stoves their blacksmith made for them. Images (6 max): (please post 1 street view photo)
The design and layout of Beautifil Bamboo Village is so very nice! @coolsim9999999 The bamboo trees and cherry blossom trees look very pretty! Each of the nook areas look very nice! It looks a very natural and peaceful village. Very nice harvestable garden area! Sims will enjoy growing and harvesting plants in the gardening boxes, and enjoy doing crafting on the woodwork table or flower arranging on the flower station. Very nice design of the bar area! It looks very nice how the counters are placed there. The wooden hand made stools are a nice touch. Sims will enjoy sitting there having a drink from the bar. They will have fun playing horseshoes games.
The village looks very nice!
Thank you very much for your awesome and detailed review of my bamboo village @rosemow ! I'm so happy you like all the nooks, the bar area, the garden, the planter boxes, woodworking table and flower station, the bamboo and cherry trees and the natural, peaceful ambiance of the village !

@TheDismalSimmer sorry I did not get back to you but I only got online now and would of extended for you but no need hehe fabulous first entry it looks amazing and so glad some entries were put up as I loved this theme
Hey is this going or will you put up a new challenge? I understand you got your personal life and all but just curious as i tomorrow off and wont have much freetime in the upcoming weeks><
You could still build one just for fun It would be like an unofficial entry @asap24 . Sometimes, Simmers post a build after the deadline if they missed it and really wanted everyone to see what they'd come up with . You're certainly welcome to do that !
@rosemow@Cbear13 ...I have been working on a community type build with six homes.. I don't want to enter it into any challenge ..mostly because I haven't really seen a challenge it would fit into... but... I would like for it to be reviewed.. I've been trying to move up from Established and into the maybe Expert level... although I doubt I am ready for that... but where can I post it to get a review so I can see where I can improve??
Any suggestions would be nice... thank you in advance because I know this isn't really the place for my question

Hello @maryjane2joe There isn’t a thread where you can post builds for review but perhaps if you are in contact with different simmers they may be able to look at it and offer any suggestions or tips about the build.
Hi all
Sorry I had missed putting up a new challenge, my chest infection got quite nasty and I am slowly recovering but lots of coughing going on lol
I will get this thread caught up and updated with a new challenge.
