Hey @Paigeotto If you play around with adding a room with out walls underneath your mountain, it should stop the trees and mountain etc falling in on itself, someone on here taught me the awesome trick of putting Moo objects in rooms to stop them falling (as they will only fall if they are not in a room!), but yeah its really helpful! you might need to experiment for yourself to see how it works Your Chalet looks great!
Holy cow @leashahampton , thank you!! I will definitely mess around with it and re-upload if that is the case. Much appreciated!! Also, @rosemow , again with the kind words. Thank you, you are so incredibly kind it warms my heart

Notes about entry:
I am resubmitting this (hope that's okay) because of the errors with my "mountain" placement. I have fixed it thanks to @leashahampton , who is awesome!
MOO was used extensively in this build.
The ottoman's in the basement outside the front door are going into one another as well as the wall a bit. I wanted it to appear as if it was seamless seating.
Straight up wall mirrors are placed on top of one another to give the effect of one very large mirror.
Moar Pillaz Rec Lounger's are going into one another for a unique look, they are usable.
The second version of your Chalet build looks very nice also! @Paigeotto It is great that you were able to fix the issues from the first build. The wall with the plants on it looks great and very effective!

I am not entirely sure that my snow drifts always transfer for this one. I don't understand their properties yet. There is a possibility they will melt in the spring and then not reappear the following winter, but I don't have time to play test for that long at the moment

Very nice hot tub nook. Sims will enjoy relaxing in the tub. Very nice warm looking fireplace lobby sitting area! Sims will enjoy sitting chatting there on the sofa and armchairs warming up near the fire, or reading book. The Wintry painting is a special touch on the wall. The furnishing of each of the buildings is very nice! You have designed the facilities , the guest cabin and guest room so very well! The full moon in your last picture is a very special touch!
instead of continuing my chalet, for the first time I actually was taken away by actual gameplay. Downloaded myslef a little starter home from the gallery and added an adjacent greenhouse to it. Since it was entirely for me I didn't need to care how placing outside will put raised items back on the ground....
So as much as I like it in every season there is one downside to it :
