Hi! It has been awhile since I have been on the forums but was really interested in what you are up to. For the most I have been playing other games and reading a lot. I like both your sims updates and your skyrim updates. Both are fun. I feel a little bit like playing the sims again and I have been playing skyrim also. At the moment I am playing skyrim on my ps4. I also bought morrowind on the xbox one to play. Hope that you are doing well and having time for fun things.
Hi CK! Wow, I've missed quite a lot...so glad you got past that busy toddler phase, lol. Love your updates and loved seeing a young Vaughn and especially a young Cairo. I will definitely be checking back soon. Wow great pictures! (I can never catch a pic of the spiders, they're so fast.)
In my house, dog hair sticks to everything but the dog.
Nice to see you all!
Still adventuring in Skyrim, but I have to say I am not surprised at all with the following:
Too many hints in the game--easy tip off.
My immediate concern is that there does not seem to be depth to the snow.
It kind of looks like a snow mod. Other than that, I am happy that my sims won't be living out endless summers anymore.
I will be focusing on Skyrim until June 22nd, for the most part, but I will drop into The Sims 4 to advance my scenario further and get most of the remaining toddlers to the child stage.
Yay, can't wait to see seasonal pics from you. The lack of snow depth bothered me for around 30 seconds. I am very sick of endless summer so for the first time in Sims 4, I actually pre-ordered. Shows how excited I can get, lol.

Woo, all the updates were great. Zane is lookin' very nice, I won't be surprised if one or more of the girls starts crushing. Also can't wait to see little Cairo age up to a teen.

Yeah, that does bother me too, but our minds will probably get used to it because overall it still looks like a wintry scene except for the small detail of them looking like they are walking on top of the snow.
I saw the live stream and I am more interested in the gardening updates since Miss Peregrine can make the best use of it.
I am willing to take a small break from Skyrim to try Seasons.

Someone outside the household is about to take a deep interest in Zane.
I have no idea what is up with Photobucket now.
Can't see any pictures and I am having trouble getting on the site.
They want me to confirm my email, but I am not receiving their confirmation email.
Imgur is pretty cool, when I post pics that who I use.
Pictures are back.
It's going to be a lot of work to replace Photobucket.
That's the only thing that's probably stopping a 100% abandonment of their service.
Ugh, I recently lost 90% of all my sims blogs/stories because of Photobucket's nonsense, so I feel your pain. Unfortunately I didn't save all the screens from the past 5 generations on my main Legacy, so I basically had to delete/abandon it. But I'm starting over again (I originally began the legacy when the game first came out, so early gens were missing fun stuff like ghosts, toddlers, portraits, etc), using Google's images for now since I post on Blogger. Can't wait to see your Season's gameplay!
Seasons is finally here, and I was actually going to hold off getting it for a while.
I think it was the upgrade of gardening and the Gardening career that made me dive in.
Also the glass roofs.
I'll see what other things I can do with these later.
I am still using my TS3 greenhouse roof conversion CC, but more on that later.
I like what it does for this roof, but it's best not to look at it too closely.
What really surprise me was the detail EA went into in recoloring all the plants for Seasons.
it's the start of Spring at the Peregrine house and most of the plants are dull colored and missing their flowers.
Except for plants that came with stuff packs, they remain blooming and brightly colored.
My gumdrop shrubs are missing their bright pink flowers.
I like this because it means they will eventually pop in color when spring starts to warm up.
The trees have no leaves, except for the ones from Movie Hangout stuff and a couple of CC trees.
The plants in the green house are thriving:
Miss Peregrine has bees to pollinate her plants.
Bonding with the bees.
Failing to bond with the bees.
The sun room now has a florist station.
She will continue to have a writing career, but she also gardens for extra income.
Flowering plants will be grown here, while her more exotic plants have been transferred to the greenhouse.
Now what vase to give it?
I will probably have one of my sims try a florist business.
Despite being spring, it is still cold outside.
I gave a them a thermometer, but I think I will keep temperature effects turned off because other simmers have been saying sims are dying from the cold when they are not in control of them.
First snow, but it's probably the last snow.
It's the first snow for Bastet.
She comes outside to check it out.
As for the CC fancy roof for the greenhouse...
A room must have a ceiling or roof to keep the weather out.
So I have to get creative with roofs to make this work.
It was a pain, but I finally did it, despite looking a bit clunky from below.
I noticed that the plants seemed to be changing.
It's really subtle.
Yep!
Most definitely!
Day by day, more flowers.
I like this!
I look forward to having their full color back.
A lot of simmers went with winter first.
It's going to be a while before I get to winter, but I'm fine with the most dramatic season last.
I made my first custom holiday that I am calling Home and Hearth Day. It's the first Friday of spring.
It's kind of like a Spring Cleaning/Arbor Day celebration.
-Appreciate an Object (Home object)
-Cleaning
-Gardening
-Baking
I will also have my sims add a tree to the home lot.
Home and Hearth Day starts off with a big breakfast.
Next time I will have a sim get up much earlier and have an assortment of foods ready.
My sims started the day appreciating objects around the home to keep them busy while Meadow made breakfast.
There were some object to repair, so Zane took care of those.
This did not count towards the holiday however. I wish repairing and upgrading objects were traditions.
I couldn't stop some sims from grabbing something to eat, so I had them trash it.
It counts as cleaning anyway.
Doing the laundry does not count as cleaning, but this is a perfect day to get on top of it.
More object appreciation:
The children can't garden, but they can at least appreciate the plants.
"Your services aren't needed today.
We got this."
Breakfast is served.
And Meadow is appreciated.
Ceridwen is going though one of her phases and isn't in a festive mood.
That's nice, they break out into song for this holiday.
I wish she could sing and clean.
Researching her plants counts as a tradition.
Zane and Meadow tend the greenhouse garden.
Hecate is really enjoying the holiday.
Now it's time to bake some snacks.
Brownies.
I need to get more organized on what she is planting.
The house isn't all that messy, so messes were provided.
Way to go, Meadow!
Wanna be a bear.
The day ends with appreciating the new tree on the lot.
Love the update and the pictures! I made a holiday with my sims, Badda Boom Day. Heather invited all of her friends to the customized Magnolia Park in WC. She and her 8 friends bbq'ed, swam, ate, drank, roller skated and at dark, set off fireworks. It was a rousing success. I'm going to love making holidays!

Holidays are more enjoyable than I thought they would be.
My sims mainly did a lot of work, but I felt they appreciated their home with this holiday.
I still have a few more families to add to my game.
This is Edgar Chagall and his parents, Rita and Edward Chagall.
Edgar is going to be my super snobby artist.
They are going to be my only household in San Myshuno, living in the Art District.
Edward is in the business career track. Rita is going to be an Art Critic.
Edgar gets his passion for art from his mom.
While they were at the Art Museum, several Peregrine kids showed up.
At this point, something that has been bugging me has moved me to action.
Seasons has made some major changes to the game and has been very buggy for me so far.
I have a long way to go and more families to add, so I am starting a new save and transferring my sim families before I add any more.
I am starting with the Peregrines and Windenburg.
I had to put them on an empty lot while I moved the Villareals to a new location.
I thought it was cute that Hecate and Ceridwen were already visiting the Peregrine house while the others were on the temporary lot.
Cuteness over, I sent them back to the temporary lot.
I motherloaded them enough money to buy the house again.
I am not sure how much it will help because bed claiming is still broken with a new save.
Some plants are starting over.
Some said on Youtube that bees don't actually contribute much to plant growth other than looking healthier.
I hope that is not true.
Sad Ceridwen and Bored Bastet, yeah that's normal.
I get to watch the plants flower again.
I think I will celebrate the repeat Home and Hearth Day with another family however.
Yaaaay Seasons! I've been very pleased with the xpac so far. A few issues (bugs mostly) but for the most part it's been really fun. It's great to see your simmies enjoying the weather and holidays. Can't wait for more!
I've been racking my brain trouble shooting severe heating problems going on with my computer.
I needed to eliminate other probable causes before going out and replacing that radiator on the upper right with the tubes hanging down:
I had to replace it.
My CPU temperature was up to 90 degrees C.
I am lucky I don't have a dead computer. You realize just how addicted you are to your computer once you are forced to without it.
I had to put off Simming and Skyrimming until I got it fixed.

It looks good.
I wish I had more time to explore, but I am going to have to put that off to transfer all my sims and lots over to the new save.
I was working on customizing my new saving game to be more like the old save.
I did stop to send the kids our for skating once I saw a spawned skating rink in Willow Creek.
Gamma would rather do her homework.
But this is where I want them to go skating: good ol' Windenburg.
Only, I don't believe there is anywhere for a rink to spawn.
This would have been a nice place if this water area wasn't here.
So I set about building one for Windenburg's Modern District.
I was testing it when I noticed lag and then discovered my CPU cooling system wasn't working.
I need to finish testing it and also add some lights.
It's a bit dark at night.
Beautiful pics of Windenberg's newest park! Sorry to hear of your overheating problems...yes you were very lucky. I was having the same problem but found an inch layer of dust on the inside. I'll be looking for a new one soon, this is an oldie, 8 years now and starting to have problems freezing...phooey.
Good luck!
In my house, dog hair sticks to everything but the dog.

I have done a little building prep for it.
Winter will kill her outdoor plants, so she gets a greenhouse.
The new floral plants and the florist station will go in the sun-room.
