The Easter Bunny came and my sim talked to him. I think he gave her something too. You can befriend him, and even be flirty. (I created a Easter Holiday because there wasn't any).

Woohoo with the Easter bunny...guess you'll be going at it like rabbits. :P

As far as floral arranging goes can someone tell me how intricate they can get at the highest level? How many different flowers can be used in one arrangement and how many different vase styles are available?

I'm still a low level at the floral arrangement this is everything I know so far; the most types of flowers I've seen used in an arrangement so far is two. There are 18 vase types you can choose from.

You might also like to know; it costs money to make a floral arrangement, but if you have some of the required flowers for the arrangement you are making it will either be free if you have all of them or discounted if you don't have enough. The arrangement table also doubles as storage for harvested flowers.

Great thread idea! I have questions regarding Backyard Stuff and seasons:

Are the wind chimes affected by weather? Do they move faster when there is a thunderstorm, does their sound change, etc?

Also, are these things (picture below, not sure what they are called) affected by weather and rotate faster?

@fullspiral: you might want to look at this thread; scroll down to the post by @SageRainWillow. You may also enjoy @kalaksed's thread here, which covers the same topic with a little more detail.

My question: what holiday traditions, if any, do the other expansion, game, &/or stuff packs add? Someone (sorry, forget who it was) said that City Living allows us to add fireworks to our holiday traditions, but do they actually show up in the custom holiday traditions menu? I won't get Seasons for awhile, but I'm amusing myself making up a variety of holidays, and would like to know if there are more traditions I'll be able to play with than the ones SimsVip lists here, and SimsCommunity details here.

    Thanks In Advance! ;)

Anyway, transitions: look at the trees in the beginning of fall

I don't have the pack yet either, so I hope it's okay for me to jump in with my questions too. :)

    1. Is there a way to turn off all the neighbor's decorations on their houses?
    2. Does the Windenburg island have a skating rink/roller-blade rink, food stands, etc. on it?
    3. Does Forgotten Hollow have any skating rinks or food stands?
    4. Can we put the weather machine inside like in a basement, or does it have to be outside?
    5. Do sims automatically change into the cold weather clothes in winter?
    6. How do I keep my sims cool without the thermostat?

    Sorry i can't answer 1,2 or 3 :(
    4. Anywhere
    5. Yes and Hot clothes
    6. Keep them in cool clothes or in a pool (if outside) in the house they may still get annoyed :joy:

I have a maxed flower arranger, so if there's pics of anything you want to see in particular, let me know. I tried to screenshot as many options as possible for you, and a sampling of the various flower screens. Every scent you use gives you a different effect. Warning for everybody else.... spoilers ahead.

@SageRainWillow: so what happens if you send a cursed/deathflower arrangement to an aged vampire, eh? Can the undead die from smelling flowers? >:)

Hmmm, good question. I'm not sure I have any old vampires in my game, but if I come across one, I'll test that!

No - there are only 5 grand meals: breakfast, fish, turkey, tofurkey, and ham.

that seems stupid.. because grand meals require more then just the meat. What about cranberries, turnips, etc? ..

Well, the plates have more than just meat on them but that's what they are called when you make them. You don't have to cook the sides separately like stuffing/dressing, peas or turnips, etc.

I haven't even gotten a chance to read everything in this thread but you saying everything gets covered by snow caught my eye. I've seen a few people say and show the opposite and now I found this thread

    http://forums.thesims.com/en_US/discussion/942681/ridiculous-inconsistency-aboyt-whats-covevered-by-snow#latest

:) do you have the scarecrow? Someone else said it wasn't covered and if yours is well that would be interesting.

How do pets react to the seasons? Likewise, do cats or/and dogs bite at or try to catch the snow?

    Thank you in advance :)

Do sims autonomously complete holiday traditions?

Do club gatherings work during holidays?

My dog started running around the house when he was outside during a thunderstorm. He even stepped out the houses to run into the greenhouses then back into the house

I guess I can hope that some modders can take the in game vases and make them functional for flower arranging. There's some very pretty glass vases in game and I would have liked if those were reskinned to use for this. :(
